Money is one thing, but who wants to collaborate with THE Beyonce if they cant even be sure that their input/creativity/expertise will ever see the light of day because of greed?

As a creative, I'd think twice of working with her the next time tbh. After all, you invest time, effort and creative energy for literally nothing

Yes, the tour is slaying. 

 

However, if (for example) she spent $20 million making visuals and can't bag a deal for at least $40 million (excluding the streamer's promotional spend) commitment, then it's a loss-making venture. Which is the likely reason she's playing hardball. The math HAS to math. 

 

I love our girl, but it's entirely possible for her to have compartmentalized wins and compartmentalized losses/challenges.

Like the article says, I hope she's struck a "stealth deal".

 

She "could" always go the theatrical release route, but much as we love her, there aren't any guarantees with $$$ gross in the way there are guarantees with a check from a streamer. 

 

I hope this tea spill forces the hand of whoever she's in partnership with to spill the tea. 

 

Remember how we got the Netflix deal tea via a tabloid and literally a few weeks later Homecoming was announced? Same ish with Disney and BIK.

Yeah, I think it’s quite obvious that the film is on the way at this point. The articles stated this was the status MONTHS ago. The tour interlude saying “you asked for the visuals” and a queen move at her own pace points to they exist. It’s also aligns with some of the reshoot tea. It’s really just a countdown to the announcement at this point. I’m guessing Amazon Prime is could be the streaming site that get it considering how much support they’ve given to Renaissance for the last months.

If they’re saying it’s better and weirder than BIK then I’m BEYOND hyped. BIK was already phenomenal to me so if we get more experimental stuff and make it a spectacle, oh I’m sat!
