Right then she drops the tour dates. :jonny5:

Is she under some sort of deal because why wouldn't she upload Lemonade film anywhere?

I haven't watched the film since 2016 because no one has time to watch a DVD anymore.

April. With a single at or right after the grammys.

since bey has no intention on doing any (further) traditional promo. This would be the best.

so sorry to Heated / Alien Superstar. The no1 smashes that got away.

Well what about Act 3, why wait for Act 2 and release visuals and then have a whole act 3 left out the serving?

Tour Dates in April? Visuals dropping in pride month? I hate it here :biblio:

I’m hoping for Cuff It’s top 10 this month, with maybe a couple remixes, send Heated at least to Urban and Rhythmic and then visuals (with an act ii tease) and tour dates in February around Grammy’s night. Lead single for act ii at the end of March if Heated isn’t smashing and album in April - May, right before the tour.

Tour dates cannot drop that late ... I guess?

I mean, it is true that MCWT ones dropped in Feb and first tour date was roughly in late April / early May. But I would hope she drops them in the next two months ... ?

Also, what's the drill on Bree Runway and Flo being the opening acts in Europe? I would love for that to be true, even though I would also not mind Chlöe being there too.

Also, Heated has to be the next single. I think it still has to "not-known" factor which could turn the GP onto the album again. Watch her at list try and give CG another add date to Urban though ...

Lately shes been dropping tour dates 2-3 months prior to the start date; which is annoying cause the early she announce, the more $$$ and double shows she have.

Heated should’ve BEEN a single by now. But ig Parkwood still is all hands on deck with Cuff It.

Tour dates should’ve been Sept, lbr. Leaving it so late to sell stadiums is not good.

I like this.

Given that we're more than likely getting new material / bodies of work from her this year, we're for sure going to have multiple scenarios where certain songs are denied the single treatment and we'll have to deal. Assuming it really is a 3-album project, in all her ambitiousness she rightfully shouldn't oversaturate the market with too many "official" singles.

I can totally see strategy being something like:

Act 1: BMS and CI

Act 2: Lead + Whatever the Public Most Gravitates Towards

Act 3: Same as Above

The AS, Heated, etc of each project (aka the obvious "other" single options) will have their moment by way of social media traction + their respective video components. There's also the very real probability of something going super viral.

Bree has been booked for Lizzo's Euro tour in Q1. Would be very surprised if she then did Bey (somewhat) right after. Story felt a bit planted/speculative and more about creating buzz around the imminent(?) tour announcement than rooted in anything definitive me thinks. As for Chloe, it would be a great look, but I actually think it would only make the "Bey-clone" critique too easy. At the same time, Bey is running/building a business, so mass exposure for Chloe is a must.

Agreed on all of this. Thing is, I believe act II is coming soon only if the visuals are also related to that. In that case things would finally start to make sense, yet it’s Bey we’re talking about and she truly gives no **** about commercial logics (but then again for BMS she went all out, so I cannot figure her out atp lol).

As per Chlöe, that is my only worry about it also given her solo material. But to be honest I can totally see her opening up in stadiums - her singles post Have Mercy may have been a non-factor to most extents, but she knows how to get an audience entertained. And she’s super talented, but that’s subjective ofc.

I still laugh when I remember people dragging anyone for believing the leaks in the all green outfit were her, then she went and posted the teaser and it was actually her :deadbanana2:

It’s still three albums. Things like Club Renaissance will make much more sense when she gets to play a 3h project rather than a single album on repeat.

One thing is for sure... if Beyoncé is withholding visuals they will only get better and better.

Having more time with projects always produces better results, as I'm sure any creative person here knows as soon as you submit something you start realizing all the little things that you could have done differently or better. And Beyoncé being the perfectionist Virgo queen herself, we can be certain that her relationship to her work is as such.

Sonically, we can all hear the quality, richness, thought, and mastery that went into RENAISSANCE and she has said she spent many years on it. The-Dreams' quips about him being brought in to add a magic touch to CUFF IT further shows this process where she may have a nearly finished result but is able to objectively look at it and understand it needs more, and not be satisfied until it GETS more.

Looking deeper into her visual album history...

  • ST was filmed video by video around the world and then released. I wouldn't say it necessarily needed cohesion but that certain elements added to it. In this way she didn't need much time to pause and think. It's more about the collection than the concept.
  • Lemonade started her turn into full conceptual film-making. There were rumours of Formation being dropped the fall prior (not sure if that means video too) and though the video exists outside the Lemonade tale, we know she was filming as late as January/February 2016 when she made the stadium footage. The result...mainly by using spoken word and repeating footage between videos for cohesion, made for a singular, linear visual tale.
  • Black is King seemed to have taken longer than the rest, and this time it wasn't just narration but an actual story to be told with character and plot rather than just an essay of emotion.

So imagining RENAISSANCE's visuals, if she is to follow her progress...we might expect storytelling and narrative but each instance prior she's taken more time and care for the result. If she started filming in Spring of the year, I think it's entirely excusable that she may want to take more time to make sure everything is right before releasing.

The wait doesn't bother me, it truly excites me and gives me assurance that whatever she is delivering, she will know is great.
