Yeah, I’m not pressed at all for the visuals. I’m still playing the album front to back. The music is doing what it’s supposed to be doing.

this tour tho. You coming to the Atlanta show, right? I’m seeing her at least twice  :jonny:

What a ******* mess... This was their idea of an amazing roll-out? Her shittiest album roll-out ever.

We don't even have 1 performance from her, it's the thing that made me stan for her... Man i'm really so over this.

No one will care next summer :sistrens: they will only care about the new music

Didn’t someone say visuals are going to prime.

This is wild. So she’s rly doing the black is king rollout again…even though no one watched it…:deadbanana4:

Teasing the visuals an entire year early is kind of absurd.

I'm choosing to erase this page from my memory :gaycat7:

She is out of touch. :rip: not one era can run smooth

It had crossed my mind that the visuals are linked to the next album and that’s why she is waiting until she’s released both (or all three) albums so that we can experience the ‘story’ of the visual in one sitting.

I dont care about the "story". Like lets be real, it wont be a Scorcese masterpiece, like its just music videos :rip:

COLUMBIA, LEAK THE FILM! LEAK ITTTTT!!! WE ARE BEGGING YOU!

Posted

More than anything it'd be weird for her to repeat herself (Gift/BIK rollout) when 1) that rollout proved unsuccessful at best and she's not unaware of that 2) this album is begging for literally any other kind of rollout nn

Honestly, I heard it’s more about who’s willing to pay what. There’s more of a financial/money interest than an interest in how the album/singles/videos actually perform in relation to the film.

Building up hype for the videos also probably gives her a stronger position to negotiate from. That’s just my conjecture talking on that part, though.

Hmmm isn’t she in her Art not chart era? JAY needs to get out of her ears. Miss when she didn’t care if she were gonna make money for her music or not. Did you forget what you said in GHOST Miss Giselle?

She can keep it I already moved onto act ii.

Why would anyone pay for the film at this point :skull: This should’ve been lined up before the album was released in order to get peak views from the album’s release hype. Anything now would be a bad investment unless you’re a super rich fan and want the videos too :lmao:

I just don’t think hype for this album will last into next summer. Especially with no visual component or performances. Like who will care about the videos a year from now?

act ii must be part of the plan somehow. but no one is going to sit down and watch two albums worth of videos in one sitting…I simply don’t understand :rip:

Yup, I’m going both nights she come (I know she’s doing more than one night here). I’m gonna spend good for one ticket and get a high up seat seat for the second night.

How does she still have a career? It is incredible. Not a single smooth era in over a decade. :lmao:

The tour announcement was also supposed to come, where is it? I need to know if she's not coming to Paris.

She has to be coming to paris. That’s like skipping NYC or something

:ahh::ahh:

SHE/PARKWOOD IS A COMPLETE JOKE!!!

It seems like they shot the entire film without a solid deal with a distributor, and now they are SCRAMBLING to find one :bibliahh: I guess that disproves the Netflix 3 film deal (but didn’t Variety confirm this??).

The visuals coming out in Summer 2023 is pure comedy. NO ONE will care by then :deadbanana4: Did they not see what happened to BIK?

A year long wait for visuals is just ridiculous, especially if you’re not even doing anything with the era in between that time :rip:

@giRLbye. on the way to defend this in 10…9…8…

It’s literally probably all just about who pays the most money for the film. It’s not about the “hype” or anything lasting til next summer. Her interests aren’t the same as ours. And all of this could change too.

She definitely still has the Netflix deal, but the particulars of it aren’t known. Maybe she gets to choose what content to give to them.

Remember when we thought there was no album coming and she scrapped the whole thing after she did the whole mrs carter show in 2013? And then it just randomly dropped This is giving me the same vibes ngl i feel like it’ll be any day now but we should stop expecting it

I don't think anyone is lying, but I also don't believe the visuals are coming next summer.  Someone is wrong. :rip:

It's not even about defending her, it's about logic. If it IS true, I don't think we're getting a video for every song on each act. It'll be like four songs from each. Because no one is sitting down to watch a three hour music video film with these 2022/2023 attention spans.

I do think she enjoys being obtuse, though. Like subverting expectations makes her feel smug or something :deadbanana2:
