All signs point to it being a blockbuster smash and that will coincidence with second round of voting so at least she'll be fresh in voters' minds. Recent examples of movies swaying Grammy voters is ASIB, which released around second round of voting in late 2018 for the 2019 ceremony. Gaga won BPSP for a piano version of a song from Joanne that didn't chart/make any noise Not that I think we can over-rely on this since Gaga has always been a favourite among Grammy voters.
ariananext Posted November 11 Posted November 11 (edited) ED Twitter is really starting to get on my nerves. I get that these people are dealing with mental health issues and we shouldn't engage in discussions about ED with them too much because it doesn't help anybody, but the way they act like they know everything about Ariana's life just because they project their issues on her is insane. The constant pushing for her/her fans to "admit" she has an ED as if that would somehow help her is wild to me. Like, how is speculating about someone else's body or health ever helpful? She literally said the other day that it's triggering and creepy for her yet they won't leave her alone, like what is going to change if anybody addresses this. Edited November 11 by ariananext 9
thedeathbymusic Posted November 12 Posted November 12 do ya'll thinks she'll pursue more film roles after Wicked? what do you see her doing?
Jude Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Wicked press tour is really helping her. Once the movie soundtrack is released, it's over for others. 2
Aristocrat Posted November 13 Posted November 13 (edited) Absolutely loving the Wicked press tour. She seems so genuinely happy and proud of this film and the fashion choices have been perfect. Can't believe after all this time the (first) movie comes out next week. Also so annoyed about the we can't be friends Grammy snub. Not surprised cause they've never shown her the love she deserves, but that song not receiving a nomination is just insane. This makes me hope she can snag that Oscar nomination even more. She confirmed in a recent interview she loves acting so much and wants to continue, and that although she will always do music and be a pop star, the level at which will be much less the next 10 years of her career than it was the first 10 years, so yes. I personally think she's campaigning HARD for an Audrey Hepburn biopic right now, it's very obvious with her Wicked press tour fashion choices imo. I also think she would be great on a show like The White Lotus. 2

I hope she stays in a more comedic lane (she's so talented in that space) or more musicals. or back to actual Broadway (but I think she's too big for that right now)
sleepevaded Posted Friday at 10:18 AM Posted Friday at 10:18 AM i'm so excited to see where her acting goes after this. she seems so present these days and has a newfound joy with acting that i think will be a positive thing for her as a creative overrall going forward :') love her so bad 3

Rooney Mara was attached to an Audrey biopic for Apple with Luca Guadagnino directing but I think that fell through and it's no longer moving forward atm. So who knows lol. I could deff see her doing Hercules and here for it but tbh if she wants to continue acting longterm I would like to see her take on roles that are more unexpected for her. Even though comedy is her lane and she thrives in it. The ATRL hate threads are increasing lately so you know what the means? Wicked is going to smash and I think we are looking at it going on into awards season but don't wanna jinx it. Some pundits are calling her a lock for a nomination after seeing the movie and they were skeptics so it's promising for sure. 3

Thuggin Posted Saturday at 08:57 PM Posted Saturday at 08:57 PM The daily viral Wicked / Ariana / Cynthia hate. Everyone from Twitter to Reddit to YouTube losing their minds about this movie and nitpicking everything. Meltdowns over prominent marketing as if every blockbuster movie doesn't get the same treatment, just after they praised the Barbie marketing too. I guess if this movie is a success it'll prove social media really doesn't matter 2

ariananext Posted Tuesday at 05:59 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:59 PM The way she always proves people wrong is such a kii. "she can't get a solo hit" > gets only solo hits for five consecutive albums "she only appeals to kids" > gen z quickly becomes the target for all MPGs "she can't write, too many collaborators" > here's a self written album with her best songwriting yet "she can only do meme hits" > everybody begs for viral songs now "she can't act" > gets acclaim for a huge role 3 1
