Charli got nominated it over her on Best Pop Solo with an album track while she had a #1 hit on the Hot 100 and Pop Radio, lets no be delusional, Von Dutch is winning over her, even Billie will be ahead of her on the category, she will lose all 3 noms, the sooner we accept it the better:chick3:

Best Pop Solo Performance was the only award that was 100% hers so it's looking like another rough evening, though I wonder how much Wicked will impact voting. All signs point to it being a blockbuster smash and that will coincidence with second round of voting so at least she'll be fresh in voters' minds. Recent examples of movies swaying Grammy voters is ASIB, which released around second round of voting in late 2018 for the 2019 ceremony. Gaga won BPSP for a piano version of a song from Joanne that didn't chart/make any noise :rip: Not that I think we can over-rely on this since Gaga has always been a favourite among Grammy voters.

ED Twitter is really starting to get on my nerves. I get that these people are dealing with mental health issues and we shouldn't engage in discussions about ED with them too much because it doesn't help anybody, but the way they act like they know everything about Ariana's life just because they project their issues on her is insane.

The constant pushing for her/her fans to "admit" she has an ED as if that would somehow help her is wild to me. Like, how is speculating about someone else's body or health ever helpful? She literally said the other day that it's triggering and creepy for her yet they won't leave her alone, like what is going to change if anybody addresses this.

do ya'll thinks she'll pursue more film roles after Wicked? what do you see her doing?

Wicked press tour is really helping her. Once the movie soundtrack is released, it's over for others.

Absolutely loving the Wicked press tour. She seems so genuinely happy and proud of this film and the fashion choices have been perfect. Can't believe after all this time the (first) movie comes out next week. :duca:

Also so annoyed about the we can't be friends Grammy snub. Not surprised cause they've never shown her the love she deserves, but that song not receiving a nomination is just insane. This makes me hope she can snag that Oscar nomination even more.

She confirmed in a recent interview she loves acting so much and wants to continue, and that although she will always do music and be a pop star, the level at which will be much less the next 10 years of her career than it was the first 10 years, so yes.

I personally think she's campaigning HARD for an Audrey Hepburn biopic right now, it's very obvious with her Wicked press tour fashion choices imo. I also think she would be great on a show like The White Lotus.

wasn't Ronney Mara attached to that? I can't see Ari taking on a more serious role of a biopic but I'd love to be wrong. I hope she stays in a more comedic lane (she's so talented in that space) or more musicals. or back to actual Broadway (but I think she's too big for that right now)
