Magdalene Posted January 13 Posted January 13 she is serving classic 90’s diva belting her ass off in the last chorus while still giving choreo for stans to call it boring while going back to listen to a jack anfonoff production hm 2
wantedyoutogrow Posted January 13 Posted January 13 7 21 savage tracks above her on AM. That goblin should've stayed in the fuckin UK 1
Bewitched Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) I doubt she’s going to the Grammys but I wonder if she’ll perform at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. That’s usually around March/April. Edited January 13 by Bewitched
Zaynsus Posted January 13 Posted January 13 In a single day, I accumulated more plays of "yes, and?" than my most played song of 2023 1
rivingtonrebel Posted January 13 Posted January 13 As much as I love "yes, and", i'm already perched for the second single. She's known for having good follow-up singles, hence "7 rings", "god is a woman" and "Into You". 3

I say we either need a classic Max/Ariana song like Into You, DW or bloodline, or something more r&b to please the other side of the fandom 1
Zaynsus Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I wouldn't mind if the entire album sounds like yes, and? tbh, I don't a "comeback to the roots" aka her going back to what she has already done before, at least, not for this album, maybe later in her career. I love that she explored new sounds, that's what I wanted her to do. 1

Zaynsus Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Can't wait to watch the first live performance of the song, I want to see the choreo so bad

It's still too early to tell (we'll have a better idea in 2-4 days) but I think the #1 is pretty much secured. Ms Harlow is huge on radio though so I think as long as Ponytail's radio numbers are decent, the pure sales + streams should be enough to take #1. 1

wantedyoutogrow Posted January 13 Posted January 13 the fact bloodline is going to be her first Tik Tok viral album track is just… IMH deserved, that’s all i’m gonna say and no, Daydreamin’ doesn’t count
Devin Posted January 13 Posted January 13 i support bloodline going viral. she has so many deep cuts that will do well on tik tok.
State of Grace. Posted January 13 Posted January 13 glad bloodline is smashing but yeah in my head deserved this. its funny because bloodline was in my top 3 from the album in 2019. i just HATE those 2014'd Max Martin horns now
kindararenext Posted January 13 Posted January 13 here for bloodline becoming a smash saw a tik tok this morning saying the original song is better than the edit that's going viral and it had over 200k likes

whiteferrari Posted January 13 Posted January 13 This is such a grower, I'm liking it more each day. I'm giving it a 7.9 right now, I think the only weak part is the verses. It reminds me of my least favorite part of NTLTC, just sort of eh and filler, a bunch of nothing being said They point out the colors in you, I see 'em too And, boy, I like 'em, I like 'em, I like 'em We way too fly to partake in all this hate We out here vibin', we vibin', we vibin' Boy, come on, put your lipstick on (No one can tell you nothin') Come on and walk this way through the fire (Don't care what's on their mind) And if you find yourself in a dark situation Just turn on your light and be like The chorus eats, the tempo change on "say that shi*t with your chest" is so good I love the vocal effect on the bridge as well Besides the verse lyrics, the only other thing I'm still warming up to is the copy and paste vocals after the final chorus. "hooo oh baby hooooo" where is the vocal composition that she's being using for all of the recent droplets? those all have far superior vocals and arrangements. the final belting is so predictable it could pass for AI no shade, and it could easily pass for vocals taken off of problem/bang bang I am sooooo excited for the 2nd single I just know it's an urban smasha, hoping for either more r&b sounding or thunder pop ala NTLTC/LMH/Into You She did exactly what was needed, a sonic change, less hands in the writing process, and self-producing Are you guys here for this director doing all of the MV's for the era? I'm rooting for Dave Meyers to do at least one. The MV elevates the song for sure, but I'm not loving the intro dialogue and the single location/outfit idea. I don't need the camera to pan to randoms after every two verses, very reminiscent of the everyday mv (but obvi better) I like this more than I did positions on initial listen and the album sounds promising based on what we've seen it's a win for me 2
mxoonlight Posted January 13 Posted January 13 mature, sophisticated sound for eternal sunshine and bloodline on tour setlist after becoming a moderate hit delicious yummy food

LustSpell Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I truly don't understand some of these gays. You tell the girl to go away because she's making too much music and is losing her touch. Fair, I guess. She does that, comes back with her biggest debut ever and she's tanking? COVID truly messed up people's brains hard 4
