  • Oh, I remember when they did a Mariah special back in 2008 and she appeared on the show as a mentor.   Maybe Adele will be there too.

  • Saw Adele last night, it was f**king magical, she sounded amazing. best concert of my life 🥹🥹

  • Skyfall is up to #56 on the Global Shazam chart, #163 in the US, so there's a plenty of people just now discovering the song.   Set Fire to the Rain seems to be stuck at 1.4M daily streams o

It’s just dawned on me the promo video they used for ticketmaster was the residency footage :duca:

I am so nervous and anxious. I picture myself crying during the opening.

This is something I never thought would happen.

It's really hard to care about the Grammy's anymore after what happened last year. Not even Best Pop Vocal Album award for 30? They must be joking.

But I think we took the losses really well as a fandom. And Adele herself took it well.

at least she went home with something. she can't win them all and she's been beyond blessed winning the general field twice (only artist in history to do it) so there was no reason for us to really complain :giraffe:

Sadly there’s nothing else to talk about :suburban:

The way a certain singer is about to release her 11th album and Adele hasn’t even started her 5th is so :suburban:

Maturing is realising that cry your heart out is a top 20 song in her discography

They are still mad about that?  :dies:

Adele is just a big Beyoncé fan and everyone thought that would be her moment finally

Yah I saw so many tweets about it in the lead up to the Grammys with the usual “he helped her so much during her divorce and this is how she repays him” :ace:

they went on one holiday together and that was because of James corden :ace:

The way I feel A would be the only other artist to cross over a billion if she decided to do a full stadium run for her shows next era.

If there's enough Swifties in the world to give her a billion dollars in ticket sales gross, then imagine what Adele could do with her mass appeal to older audience. The daily Spotify numbers don't reflect how most people 30+ in age consume music. For example, look at Coldplay with their touring success in spite not having a big hit in many years. And Elton John even more... and U2... etc. And while Ed Sheeran's Spotify numbers are slowing down, his touring stats remain strong still.

And think about Munich for Adele, if the average ticket price is 100 euros and it's 80k of them sold each night, that's 8 million euros gross per night or 8.6M USD. :deadbanana: And it could be even more, we don't know the ticket prices yet. We will see tomorrow.

Adele really could make a billion dollars gross from "just" 100 stadium shows, like how she made $10M per night at Wembley in 2017.

her recurrent streams are actually good tho when you compare the amount of songs in her discography.

imagine if she had over 9/10 albums like her contemporaries, she would easily be doing over 20+ million daily.

if she uses dynamic pricing ( I wish she didn't) then she's easily grossing over 10 million per show.
