Hey guys, this is officially my first post on ATRL! 
 

I’ve been lurking for a while so it’s great to finally be able to join in on the tea 

 

I’m 24 and from the UK. I enjoy music from most of the pop girlies although my faves are Dua, Katy and Taylor. 
 

Future Nostalgia, Prism and Reputation are my favourite albums of theirs (obviously there’s not much of a decision to make for Dua, though DL1 is still great).

 

I can’t wait to get involved with some juicy discussions

I’m like a few years late but hello everyone! Finally remembered my account credentials after lurking on guest mode for so long.  

Anyway, my favorite genres are Contemporary R&B, Neo Soul, and Pop. Aaliyah’s my favorite artist but I indulge in other pop girls as well from time to time and I Stan for the music. I don’t particularly care for the charts but it’s nice to know an artist you like is seeing some success. 

 

Lastly my pro-nouns are he/him but I’m comfortable with being referred to as any pronoun tbqh. Looking forward to actually engaging with the community this time!

i’m a long suffering normani fan  have been following her career all the way back since x factor days 

 

pop music wise… britney forever i’ve followed rihanna and beyoncé too, and loved dua’s last album 

 

i’m mostly an indie / dream pop girl otherwise, BANKS, jessie ware, beach house, etc

 

some hip hop / alt r&b too, kendrick, frank ocean, vince staples, sza, etc

Heyy! Been lurking for some time but realised I never introduced myself! 

 

My name is Amy (she/her) and I'm a twenty-something-year-old based in the UK! 

 

My music taste is quite female/pop-leaning but I will give pretty much anything a try at least once and if I like it, I'll keep listening!

 

2020 was probably the worst year of my life so I really relied on music to keep me going. This also prompted the unhealth and expensive hobby of record collecting! Holding an album on a 12x12 in sleeve is just so satisfying, I don't know why! It's a much more involved way of listening to music and I find it a great way to support my faves! It's also helped me discover new artists and releases to listen to, which is eventually what lead me to here! 

 

My absolute faves are Aly & AJ (ATOTBGYUOYFGYOATITS was my AOTY last year!) and Ariana Grande, these women don't know how to make bad music imo

I also enjoy Taylor Swift, Angèle, Nothing But Thieves, FLETCHER, The Aces, Bad Suns, Dua Lipa, RAYE, Alessia Cara, Zara Larsson, Maisie Peters, Laufey, mxmtoon, Sigrid, Kacey Musgraves, Maggie Rogers, LÉON, Amber Mark, MUNA, Tove Lo, Tate McRae, BANKS, Gracie Abrams, Doja Cat, Charli XCX, Lennon Stella and Lizzy McAlpine.

 

I'm probably forgetting a bunch but yeah I can't wait to discover more artists while also getting some tea
