Actually they're separating the app so there's one for music, one for tv, one for podcasts. They're actually breaking out the types of media so it isn't lumped together in a single interface

Lol it is pretty much being shut down though they're combining it because it's no longer relevant enough to stand on it's own. Nobody really buys music anymore hun.

Actually they're splitting up the iTunes app so that it's a suite of apps for different cats of media 

one for music, one for podcasts, one for tv shows

this allows apple to focus on each type of media separately without being hampered by the old software of itunes

right now iTunes houses all three

 

you kinda gotta read the press releases to know what's going on. yes, streaming is bigger now but this thread is about something else.

Hmm, okay sis that analogy reveals you still dont understand what Apple is actually is doing. They are taking iTunes and breaking it out into three separate apps 1. for Music 2. Podcasts 3. TV shows. Do you understand that iTunes is currently the interface for all three of those?
