The music industry is a mess. We need to end streaming and going back to buying albums. I know it will never happen but its depressing to see this IS what we have now. TV and Film is pretty much the same as well. Not even Lizzo bothered to show up and she's got an album coming out in like 10 days.

It's crazy how Kesha's show in Chula Vista was just as empty as the PCD show the DAY OF and it magically filled up. Does anyone think they cancelled too early? I think there was a good chance with the promotion that was coming later (AMAs and Kelly Clarkson) and when the first few shows get going, the venues would've filled up.

It's annoying that they will probably get a lot of buzz when they perform at Outloud, but it will go to nothing. Tour should've started later if that was going to be the only performance.

I might seem them in London anyway since I'm seeing Celine in Paris.

I lowkey think they cancelled because of the negativity. I've seen too many shows (Katy Perry) fill up last minute.

I think its interesting how other artists (Kid Cudi, MGK, Karli Uchis, etc) can go forth with their tours at the same venues and if you look at their seating charts, they are not selling any better. Is there a double standard?

They could've blamed the high cost of oil to get some headlines.

Today is the last day of the $30 sale, you would think the would wait till that sale was over first to cancel. I just got an email about it so maybe this could cause people to buy tickets who thought they could wait until the last minute.

they have another show 3 hrs away in missouri that looks to have sold more tickets. this particular show I think is nearby a casino and may benefit from the casino promoting it.

Even Shakira has sold about the same amount of tickets at the Acrisure Arena for her show about 10 days after PCD. If PCD cancel, then Shakira needs to cancel too.

I don't believe it. If you check the venues and compare their show to the other artists playing (MGK, Kali Uchis, etc) they are selling about the same. Are they going to cancel their tours too? Also, a bulk of the tickets tend to be sold much closer to concerts anyway. howmanytimeshowmanylies.mp3

I still feel like with them headlining Outloud, it will be difficult for them to cancel since its the 2nd show. That will leave the festival without a headliner, unless they can get someone last minute. I think they just need to get through the first few shows and the TikTok videos will help sell the tickets.

the lawn is now showing light blue at a several US venues. The lawn is where at least 50% of the capacity is in most of these venues. Crisis averted! the deals are working. i would imagine if the lawn starts to sell out, it will start to move the higher price tickets.

I ready that Kelly films like 15 shows in a week and then takes a few weeks off. It's probably still coming.
