I agree with you and that hurts because I'm a big selactress fan. Much more than musiclena. Nothing compares to the rush I felt in 2024 with all of these appearances and awards and red carpets. It was the best time ever to be a stan and I thought many roles would come following Emilia Perez but sadly she booked absolutely nothing till now.

You know, I say the same exact thing about her acting career. She wants to be an actress so bad and win awards for it but does she put the effort? No. Her Linda biopic can't get any funding, so for me the logical thing to do if you want to success that bad is fund it yourself. The Brutalist cost 10 million dollars, what's 10-20 million dollars to a billionaire that wants to prove themselves. She simply refuses to fund her work with her own money. She's stingy af.

imo Selena either needs to quite music all together or promote her music like a singer not like an influencer trying to sell me something. Every new artist got their big break because of how dedicated they are to their craft. They constantly perform, they do SNL and other shows until their music gets heard. Just look at how big Sabrina got. Let's not talk about when something of theirs starts to get traction their label push it hard by playlisting, autoplaying and sending it to radio. Selena treats music as if she is trying to sell us a product. She think a mv and a story will be enough and that her fans will carry the rest. Taylor does that but Selena isn't on Taylor's level of fame or loyal fan base at all and someone needs to tell her that. She needs to understand she is not as famous as she was in 2017, no one cares about her music, most people even hate her now bec of her political views or her being a pick me or victim. To put it simply people aren't attracted to Selena anymore.

Who is doing the promotion Netflix or interscope?

No best music video, so pop solo, no soty, no songwriter of the year, no best r&b recording for cowboy, bluest flame should have been submitted in best electric/dance recording too but they didn't. The remix could have been submitted to best remix. What are they even doing? We all thought Benny will take care of the submissions but he is useless as always.

Yeah I'm talking about next year, is she gonna only do omitb? There was an insider that has been hinting that Selena has an acting project to be announced since last year and nothing. The last thing she said was to expect news in October. But I don't think she was a good insider, I'm not saying she was lying but all her info came from the grapevine so they could have been way off and tbh all her info were incorrect. That's why I'm asking if there is a legitimate insider here that can tell us anything.

Gosh me too!! This moment made me so thirsty for Selena to win all the awards. Hopefully against all odds she can secure a Grammy this year and also against all odds hopefully she can win an Emmy this year too.

Bluest flame should win best electronic/dance category at the Grammys. It's her only shot at a win and probably at a nomination. If it doesn't win then the academy will never let Selena be a Grammy winner.
