  3. anybody know if signed cds will restock at all?
  4. she's a singer/songwriter; Melissa Faith Storwick is her actual name (used to go by charlie i believe!) https://www.instagram.com/faangsmusic/?hl=en
  5. true. i think these were all for made from scratch. "exorcist" for instance was registered to the database some time ago and FAANGS months prior to its registration said something like "Demon time 💘🦇" on his story which could've been the session for that song. cleo tighe had a couple of her demos leak. she likely shuffled her team almost entirely for a new creative direction. i just hope she recycles at least a couple of these shelved songs. i just know we lost a couple good ones...
  6. agreeee!! i was wishing it to be a dance-pop ballad like how can i dance but oh well
  7. no prob!! and you're not dumb at all; you just don't study this stuff at the college level that I currently do like most casual listeners, so i wouldn't expect you to know!! i get very geeky about this stuff, so ask away lol!! weapons is based around F♯ minor chords, and HCID leans more toward C major-type chords, but with some outside chords mixed in. soooo, they're not in the same key, but I totally get why you'd hear similarities, especially with how production and harmonies color the chords!!
  8. yes! i mentioned this above, but it has the same chord progression as one of her hits "So Am I", and that chord progression is common throughout many songs across the music industry. fun fact: it's one of the most commonly confused chord progressions for a sample/interpolation!
  9. they're talking about the common chord progression! for instance, So Am I has the same chord progression as Skin in the Game. it's very common chord used by song writers :-) among many other chords, but they often are hidden better.
  10. i think these are low b/c it was mainly when DCP was only available in certain countries due to timezones. full day gonna rise trust!!
  11. wait do we have power yet??
  12. ooooh yes that sounds like a sassy one!! fight for me is probably gonna be my claimed one; the title reminds me of Weapons & i love that single. i hope the lyrics hit me the same way weapons did
  13. & reacting to EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of my posts
  14. that's expected. a&r teams, especially nowadays, are stingey when letting artists branch out to new sounds. unless ava gets a hit with this album, in which she can advocate for herself with stronger proof that she can take off without the symbiotic relationship she has w/ them, then im afraid it'll be like that for the next album too. probably similar thing that happened with sabrina carpenter. short n' sweet took off, so while she's just fresh in the mainstream and talked about, they rushed her out another album to appeal to the target audience.
  15. same!! what track are u claiming
