Why I think real life angels is actually going to be on cartis album

After spending some time with this album… I initially preferred the bangers like dream girls etc but BOAT & June gloom is really where she shines… Her classic singer songwriter with modern and edgier influences is where this album excels… BOAT sample is genius and kinda gives LAYERS Also this is probably the first time I'm gonna say this but Camila shouldn't have had this much creative control this era.. The visual world she's made is amazing but frankly the track placement is horrendous… The interludes are all over the place and having 3 interludes on a 14 track album (13 if we count uugly) is a crime… Someone should've been in the room to sort it out

Her exact words were "that's a snippet of a song that's not out yet" and I was like "wait the deluxe" and kinda smirked" and she said "maybe and just gave like a wink and a smile" but in a like mischievous way if that makes sense

There was a HMV signing event.. you had to buy her album + a ticket for the event , all together came to like £12 got there at like 7pm (doors opened at 6:30, event ended at 9) actually saw her at like 8:30 Some people were allowed selfies on their phone but her team / management told 95% of people to put their phones away but there was an on site photographer I got so nervous and asked her abt the real life angel's snippet cus im obsessed with it and she said it's coming soon and winked… thinking abt it I should've said something else but I wasn't even stressed meeting her until I was next in line but yah she's Barbie irl

Just met her at London…. She's so pretty irl and the sweetest… I was so stressed meeting her I got starstruck so she probably thought I was weird but I just struggled to get my words out 😭

One thing that annoys me is camila is a PUNCHING BAG on twitter… I hate how "stans" and even the GP will forgive everyone else for racism etc except Camila when it's clear she's grew and changed from something that happened 10 years ago… It's clear atp that no matter what people will still hold it against her She's terribly underrated as a performer but people will never even give her a chance because of their preconceived perceptions of her.. She really does deserve better & It's really frustrating.. I think they weren't chasing commercial success this era given their questionable moves and maybe just positioning Camila to have a successful rebrand At the end of the day… Even if I didn't like the album I'll always appreciate artists taking creative risks by doing a 180 from all their previous works sonically and visually in my opinion Camilas main issue is the authenticity like all the reviews said… She can't keep radically changing her direction and visuals without retaining the core elements of what makes Camila, Camila. I really dig this eras vibe but it just.. doesn't seem like her.. I think this is a turning point in her career though I feel like what matters is what she does next. if she goes back to her singer songwriter stuff then yeah she kinda deserves it but if she carries on with the edgier albums with the hip hop influence I think this could be a change in her career and she'll start to garner a solid fanbase

The albums sound sounds sooo good on her but I think deep down this isn't her…. She pulls off this persona & sound VERY well but I truly don't think it's authentically her… However I do appreciate her & artists in general doing a 180 sonically and visually.. It paid off for her imo Its clear she's trying to build a visual world / identity around this album rather than chasing a hit so I'm kinda more curious what her next move is post cxoxo
