i am the one managing this album on genius too lollll - i know that 'small world' and 'i am the rhythm' are on there, which were made for the morph ep the other two are those that i could remember when she played the album on a listening session in london (she did one in berlin too). the album sounds SOOOO fresh and even tho it's not as dance-pop as bet and muscle, it's still very uptempo, groovy and pop just with a little more identity, i'd say

out june 26th, third single off her debut album 'coming of age' releasing this autumn

so it was oraverse, all natural, headrush and now it's voila?? a hot mess

i said in a way! imo they are not completely faceless, just to some extent - they could've given the song to any person zhone has worked with and it wouldn't feel foreign. a2lu is quintessence of how she felt lately and it shows and i love that it does! i think it sounds fresh both for her and even generally speaking. this is obviously very different from those singles but it serves a different purpose too so you have to keep that in mind ;)

i think this has a lot of HER sound and personality, whereas bet and muscle were def hits but they were faceless in a way. this sounds a lot more like HER and she has found a good balance between those two aspects on the album

yeah, she's been dropped by her label and a2lu had multiple release dates but she couldn't get into a normal publishing deal and it got pushed back constantly but she got it sorted now - her (most likely) self-titled debut is coming out this year and it sounds GREAT from how much i've heard, it will have 16-17 tracks
