  1. The album is 10/10 stars, she just needs to drop the ska album for her general audience this summer so we can get a tour, and everyone will be happy. It feels like this is a concept album/passion project not a GWEN STEFANI RECORD. We need something quirky to coincide with this and it'll be perfect. I love the album, I only hate the lack of diversity in sound
  2. A very small amount of people on SayHey hated it, Jean Paul made gorgeous outfits for the shoot-the vinyl with the glossy jackets and innersleeve is one of her most stunning releases.
  3. Target didn't even have it out on shelves, I had to get them to get it from the back. They didn't press enough of the Diamond edition or the turquoise vinyl, because both sold out + never got re-stocked even though there was demand
  4. Someone For Me should be the next single, but I don't we'll get it after never getting videos for Hold On To Now or Things We Do For Love :(
  5. Two questions: 1. What happened between her & William Baker? He made so many gorgeous artworks with her, she's looking absolutely stunning right now I can't even imagine the gorgeousness they would create now/what Disco/Tension/Tension II would've looked liked. When I bought my indie copy the worker said the swing looked like microsoft paint & I can't unsee it now. It's a shame, because both the Island & Diamond editions are stunning. 2. Can someone make a template for Disco, Tension & Tension II that could be made into Jewel cases?
  6. Not his protegee, Aaron knew Kim first he emailed Luke + Luke responded gave them both publishing deals. Luke gets credits on songs he didn't even work on Aaron produced due to the deal
  7. Same, my signed ones haven't even shipped they just gave me a tracking number for them. So weird.
  8. These are a lot better, but it's honestly stupid expecting an artist to record a new bridge for an extended version of a song.. be happy for the new hidden harmonies + ad libs brought to the forefront. People are so ungrateful
  9. A good 85% of the extended mixes are better than the album track. Anyone else still waiting for their signed copy to ship? They made the label the same day as one order, one order got picked up signed didn't so annoying
  10. Am I tripping or is the extended MY OH MY actually listenable? The vocals don't sound destroyed like the main mix
  11. Just spun the yellow & clear versions back to back, Yellow is MONUMENTALLY BETTER. Yellow even feels thicker, the sound is louder + the dynamics are a lot better. Clear is super quiet + flat sounding, bummer. Thinking about returning the clear + trying the turquoise.
  12. Engineer means recording, not production we all know she records her own vocals nowadays
  13. Right? Very metallic, it makes me sad, because her voice is still incredible after all these years. I get they leaned more into the Padam vibe, but I hope we get more organic sounding vocals from her soon. I saw someone name drop R2D2 on another forum when discussing the original Tension and it really irritated me, because the weird tuning + distortion aren't even necessary. She needs to hire a separate vocal producer to do the entire album like B did with Glory.
  14. Nah, I've been a fan of Kylie the bulk of my life, listen to her voice on Golden, X & Aphrodite for comparison. Also, recording doesn't equate producing, she records herself then sends them to the producer.
