It's a great song, but she's unfortunately always going to be analyzed more harshly because of the standard she set for herself with the perfection that is Melodrama. Anything that she releases that's not the best song ever in the history of the world is going to be deemed disappointing, even if it is a 8.5/10. That's just what happens when you release a magnum opus at 20.

It's hard for me to imagine it performing worse than Solar Power (single). She's back to a pop sound after 8 years and people seem to be vibing with the snippet. I just hope it's a good song tho. And hopefully it doesn't leak or accidentally get released early like last time lol

The charts are soooo stagnant rn, especially for female artists. I feel like she could kinda pop off with this song
