Loved the album! I admire her for exposing me to new genres and styles. I don't always want her to fulfill my dreams of her collaborating with artists and producers that I think would suit her. Sometimes I want her to surprise and this did its job! Mixed reception will always be there when online discourse is made for this to be "uncool" and we even instigate it! I mean, I love that this is fanbase is not that cultish, but if we don't even anonymously like it and defend it taking the points that Gaga made of why she recorded this and this or that version was necessary in this or that way, why would a critic? I think this is in part the reason people like Taylor or Beyonce are more "acclaimed" than Gaga
