    It's okay. If a fan is only going after the sales records, he/she can quit Adele now. I don't think she will ever top 25's sales. Most music star's sales naturally go down after the peak.

    Identity, equal rights, humanitarian support for other countries, abortion rights are all good, but these things are not the foundation of your popularity among mass voters. You need to have a foundation that appeal to everyone, plus all these things on top to mobilize some vocal smaller groups. At the end of the day, regular voters care about what matters to their life. Economy (inflation) is the most universally critical thing for everyone. When people don't have enough money in your wallet, they will not vote for you. Simply as that. Democratics should learn from this.
