there was so many olivia/ noah kahan singles at my store i was genuinely gagged, however i was disappointed with the fact that apparently they only got 2-3 copies of Pink Pony Club/ Naked in Manhattan singles and obviously they sold out before I could buy them, same with feather by sabrina and the daft punk something about us 12" single! otherwise I got everything I wanted for the most part! I know they aren't on the same labels or anything but I just checked the numbers and it's limited to 1500 for Chappell's single while the Olivia/Noah COVER single is limited to 15000... im sick!

i hate this store/ seller so much. It's literally a 19 year old with his own independent tiny record shop yet he marks everything up $5-15 and sells them to kids (lana stans) and calls it a day. Like good for him I guess but I think his markups are way too excessive- and now theyre getting exclusive pressings for a r*pist and manipulator? Lol..

they sent back an email basically saying overall that it was "out of their control" - "it appears that the issue you encountered was due to factors beyond our control and was related to the carrier's handling of your order". I'm sure it was partially related to UPS' handling yet, obviously if its sent in a literal piece of plastic with thin ass sheets of bubble wrap in it, it's going to come damaged either way. I let them know this in my response, if it's not their company shipping/handling it, it's whoever decided on the packaging to be bubble mailers' fault. If it is them doing the S/H, clearly it is not beyond their control to send the vinyl in better packaging. It shouldn't be beyond their control period, they can get whoever is doing the S/H to package it better, especially for THAT price. Why am I having to explain in my response email how shipping vinyl works to them and that obviously I'm sure my package got crushed in transit to me, because that's how packages get sent out, hence why record mailers exist to prevent this- mind you I live only two states away from where it was shipped from and it still came like this. They also didn't let me know if I'm even going to get a replacement yet, just that they're "investigating".. tl;dr: her team seems to be ass which is extremely unfortunate for an artist of her music/image status. - And no but I agree! There aren't any images online, and I missed out! one of my big ISO's...

just a heads up to anyone who ordered/ was planning on ordering Victoria Monét's Jaguar II on Vinyl from her store for the already hefty price tag after shipping- It arrived today in a bubble mailer.. - no cardboard inserted or anything to protect it, it didn't even say fragile on the outside. They sent it via the cheapest shipping method possible (UPS Surepost) for them, which makes 0 sense considering I spent $13 on shipping. Obviously came with corner damage on all 4 corners as well a giant bend to the bottom left of the sleeve. Surely if you're a retailer selling brand new vinyl and for that price, you should know it doesn't cost more than $5 at MOST to send a vinyl in a cardboard mailer via media mail. UPS Surepost is even under $5. Shame on whatever team this is.

I picked up The Loveliest Time today at my local record store and noticed Track 13, Weekend Love, is missing. It's also missing from the CD tracklist. Wondering if it was a bonus digital track to begin with yet there was no mention of that anywhere ever and I can't find info on it now.. Strange considering physicals were a pre order for this album and there's only one variant in the end.. no deluxe tracks/ 2LP on the loneliest time vinyl either, why does carly always get shorted somehow when it comes to her physicals???

yall know when the deluxe drops she's also gonna do CD's, cassette's, and more vinyl with the tracks, hopefully a 2LP.. but considering she didn't do a dlx for sour, its inevitable with how many variants that album got and with how many we already have with guts so far.. marketing genius indeed (this is me saying yall should save your money bc u know eventually a vinyl will be sold with all album+dlx tracks in the end)

they do, just very infrequently anymore. They recently had a 40% off all sale items, I just bought zendaya and trendsetter by coi leray for like $7.50 each but i ended up not even keeping them in the end because they sent them damaged, twice 💀😐 Idk what's keeping them from putting some vinyl absolutely nobody is buying (JT, jessica simpson, honey remixes) on sale, im assuming theyre going to do new markdowns soon after november for singles day, like Q4 or Q1 next year. My god i hate waiting britney gif

Kim's team making FTB vinyl $46 is insane. Yeah it's gatefold and comes with prints and "metallic printing", that shouldn't cost more than +$5 on every copy to make from a typical (even now raised) gatefold 1LP $25-30 price point, meaning it should be $35 at the very MOST.. i'll wait until they go on sale everywhere lmfao. Also what is up with people choosing the worst possible colors for albums recently? A dark blue, smokey blue marble,, literally any color of blue, or any other color would have been better than target neon highlighter yellow, or the webstore white, and I'm a kim stan! BORING.. SLOPPY.... LAAZYYYY....

also this randomly happened a month or so ago and I forgot to post about it.. a certain vinyl reseller came into my workplace and purchased HUNDREDS of dollars worth of vinyl. He had an account with us that discounted the whole purchase by some % or something too. I wasn't thinking about it until after and then I realized that this might have been he who shall not be named... googled the name later, found the photo and matched them up and it was 😭😭.. I can't believe people do s**t like that irl.. the fact that his everyday job is buying out records actual fans could have in their hands but can't get them since people like him take and buy ALL of them out and then resell them for more than the original cost.. and then also owning multiple websites to sell said records. This is like a perfect example of another reason why the vinyl market is dying..
