Wow the song is really great ! It reminds me her first albums

I wasn't sure how I felt about the album on the first listens. I absolutely adored ICGUTT and Automatic so I think I had huge hopes. I was a little trigger by the tracklist (especially the transition between Love You For and Ride) but eventually I really fall in love with all the new songs. Love You For and No Consequences are on the top of my list ! Middle of the night is also great and I put it between Love You For and Ride and I think it works well 16 Summers is really gorgeous, her voice is incredible on this one (and on the album in general, it's crazy how confident she sounds now)

I'm very confident about this new album I love ICGUTT et Automatic (even tho I wonder why the last one ends so abruptly when it's followed by an interlude that lasts only 28 seconds). The snippets sound all promising (vocally her evolution sound impressive on this opus) and Mr. Valentine is really fun ! I think it's gonna be a very joyful album :) I like Ride but I have the feeling the chorus could have been more than this sample. I find it a bit lazy but it still is a good song ! really can't wait to be the 17th

Candy sounds dated, like something that could be part of thank u, next or something like that. Otherwise, the acoustic versions are good, especially stay, direction and delulu. But it's not a surprise cause when I saw her in Paris a couple of months ago, she sang so well, everyone was religiously listening to her. but yes, stay is really taking an other dimension with that acoustic version for me I would have loved acoustic versions of Of With Her Head and Best Friends tho

Glad you like it without the instrumental break

I give it a new listen this morning. Direction / Make It Up / River / OWHH is really the best part of the album.

There's a kind of chorus and then the na na na na of Lil Silva from the beginning of the song with a little bit of strings In my opinion the end of the demo was way better

Guillotine is a great opener, but it should have been so much more… I had hopes in Delulu but it's really lazy, and the production sounds so cheap. Move is cute but it sounds unfinished, like it could have been something really great but that chorus is once again so lazy. The song is not that long but during the outro, I was like « ok, what's next? » Yseult's versus is great tho. Stay is a pretty love song, but once again, couldn't she elevate a bit the song ? I was hoping the second chorus to go somewhere else but it… just stayed the same. I'm not gonna talk about this studio version of Meddle in the Mold, cause the effects on her voice are atrocious. I'm gonna keep the Colorshow version, while I still think the song could have been so much better. Direction… loved so much the demo, and I'm a bit disappointed she didn't keep the instrumental break. I'm not crazy about the new chorus, but maybe it's just because I'm so used of the demo. It still think it is one of the best song on the album. Make It Up is ok, love Sampha's voice and it matches well Banks' universe. I think it will grow on me River is really cool. It sounds new for Banks but it fits both her voice and her universe. Once again it should be more than this but at this point I take it Off With Her Head is a great closer. Her voice is really beautiful on this track, and thanks she didn't ruin it with vocoder and autotune for once. I hade hopes maybe too high with this album and my first listens let me quite disappointed

wow, we already know the two longest tracks on the album, and they only last 4:01 and 3:33... at least i hope the songs are great but the album is really short

Love Is Unkind is a great song I wonder if they're going to push this single to promote the album with a video clip or if they keep a last single to drop the album I also realize I've only 6 songs left to discover since I already know Direction and Make It Up from the leaks, and Delulu from the snippets she shared to us. While I pray they keep the demo version for Direction, I hope Make It Up don't last 1:43 cause the leaked version is more an interlude than a real song.

This acoustic album is amazing. I would have loved to have Drowning, Change and Before I Ever Met You on it, but it is still a superb gift she gave us to celebrate Goddess anniversary.

What I really enjoy with the two first single is the fact we can hear her voice again. The vocal production was a major issue on Serpentina and even sometimes on III where it was overproduced. I hope it will also be the case on the rest of the album.

This is her best album cover, even better than the Goddess one that I adore
