  7. Hope we’re all on the same page about how the definition of pop music has changed and evolved throughout the years/decades.
  8. Azealia Banks - 212. A 2010s rap staple. Boyz II Men - I'll Make Love To You. It's cute. But I can think of better ones that sound like this. Ce'Cile - Hot Like We. I like the production. Chloe X Halle - Ungodly Hour. Cute production. Don't really care Erika de Casier - What U Wanna Do?. Best R&B song on this list. Heart - Alone. This is kinda pop rock tho... JoJo - What U Need. Interesting production at the intro then it dipped... Kacey Musgraves - Golden Hour. I don't enjoy her much. Lauryn Hill - Doo-Wop (That Thing). It's alright. Linkin Park - Papercut. Their best. Massive Attack - Teardrop. Miranda Lambert - Vice. Don't enjoy her either. Paramore - Decode. Wow haven't heard this since... it came out! Shakira & Nicky Jam - Perro Fiel. There are tons of better reggaeton songs, even in her own catalog. but this isn't bad. Switchfoot - Dare You to Move. Kinda pop rock too, but I'll take this over the other one here. Taylor Swift - Hoax. Ha. Ho. X.
  9. There were actually many great choices I could choose from. Hopefully the gays don't hate my entry.

  13. It's Like That: hmm there are better songs on the album and not her best opener for me Los Angeles: enjoy the guitar riffs a bit but everything else falls flat ...ready for it?: Taylor is just not for me Sparks: Sounds somewhat uninspired Take Me: the verses are mixed very poorly but overall it’s not the most offensive thing Breakaway: one of her better songs Run Away With Me: this is cute, but not my fav of her openers tho Body Language: now we’re talking! An intro track better than most things on this list Release Me: Sounds formulaic, not in a very good way Almost Love: I’m so fancy Alewife: I live 3 miles away from this station and will probably never visit it The Vapors: kinda have a soft spot for this but it didn’t age too well :/ Imagine: quite enjoy the instrumentals On My Way: I think the only thing this song has going for it is it doesn’t sound aged yet Let It Happen: one of my fav songs from them Ashley: Si Veo A Tu Mamá: very cute

  17. So it seems like I won’t be able to continue as my schedule is getting busier. I was planning to do a Mulholland Drive (the movie) theme with the nightmares concept and playing with dream vs reality. These were my songs, I thought I’d share since I took the time to think this thru lol: 1. this was supposed to be the song that represents the “dream” Betty has with lesbian undertones and a dreamy vibe. 2. This was Betty’s awakening to reality and her denial of what she can’t have (career, love, etc.) 3. this is after the dinner/party scene when Betty learns about the engagement of her lover to someone else and to the ending of the movie (I won’t spoil it for ppl who haven’t watched it). The song is a constant pleading. Betty goes Thru this pleading where she wished this wasn’t the reality of her life. Basically my concept was to flip the theme on its head and depict how reality is the nightmare. I was planning to make a website or a word doc and make it look v cute. Rly thought with the correct writing and Cute visuals I could be GT this week but life happens lol good luck everyone! I might pop by to see how this goes in the future.
