  1. I'm loving all this Utada content we've been getting since the beginning of 2024 - a great consistent run! Just to go over what you've written - is there a source for this that I've missed? The iD interview with Utada/Arca had them only saying they were talking about further collaboration and that they'd love to, but nothing was confirmed beyond the remix. Additionally, Hikki said they were working on new music, but an album wasn't explicitly mentioned. I don't think we're getting one for a while, anyway. My guess is 2026 at the earliest, unless they were recording with a super busy schedule last year.
  2. Gurl, as soon as I saw/heard this I said wtf is Lapone DOING. They are holding back talent. Put this on streaming NOW and let the man write the group some tunes. I LOVE JO1 but I can't help but feel that they could push a bit more to truly go to the top (not necessarily their fault). So much potential. The TASTE! Truly her best works (+ "SUPER MUSIC MAKER" and "Bitter...").
  3. YES! She was a staple in my early J-pop days. "Simple As That", "Next to You", "See you...", "Love Story", and "Haruka" were on constant repeat in this household. There was something about her/her sound that set her apart from everything else being released at the time. I wish they'd put her stuff up on Spotify.
