Congrats! This is massive for many reasons and they deserve it 100%. They played the game like everybody else in the industry and won it. If radio won't play them for being asian/singing in korean, the fans will put them there with sales and streams, and not the first or last act to have this kind of massive support from fans. It's undeniable they have a huge audience (that keeps growing) in the US. It was only a matter of time and better promotion to reach it. Doesn't matter what bitter kpop stans have to say... first of all, their faves could never. Second, the position behind BTS their faves would be if they ever manage to do it
