Didn’t U Got It Bad by Usher spend six weeks at number one?

It was there a while ago, but he deleted it for whatever reason.

The Perfect situation is such a unique situation that it is hard to make any comparisons with it. Typically, the superstar remix was a technique that was only used as a last minute tactic for songs that are close to going number one, but don’t have the momentum to go number one organically (S&M for example). Perfect was already on a trajectory to hit number one. It wasn’t guaranteed to go number one, but it was relatively early in its chart run and it’s two biggest competitors were going to peak earlier, giving Perfect a good chance to go number one before the remix was even known to the general public. When the Beyoncé Perfect remix was dropped, it sent Perfect’s chart run into hyperdrive. In Perfect’s first week at number one the Beyonce version was clearly the number one version of the song, but after the first week, the original was the bigger version (the second week was someWhat debatable, but by the time the third, fourth and fifth weeks occurred, the Beyonce version was nowhere close to being the dominant version). The problem was that it seemed as if Billboard didn’t have a policy for what happens when a number one song changes version during its reign at the top of the charts. To the best of my knowledge, there had never been a situation where a number one song changed credits during its reign before Perfect (Unless you consider Kesha removing herself from Right Round, but even that situation was a full out removal, not a shift), so this created a weird chart anomaly that I don’t think Billboard wanted to deal with. In my opinion, I don’t think that Billboard wanted to have their charts history look strange with the Perfect change, so they kept Beyonce on the credit, but after a while it became clear that her version was clearly not the biggest song in the country. After having many people for many weeks point out the inconsistency in the rule they made during S&M, they finally had to change it. That’s just what it felt like from my perspective during the Perfect reign at number one. This situation is very different and I can see it playing out in five ways. 1) Original Say So has more points and there is no change in credits. 2) Original Say So has more points and they credit Nicki citing the boost as to why Nicki gets a credit. 3) Original Say So has more points and they credit Nicki to avoid brutal lashings from the Barbz. 4) Savage goes number one and it doesn’t matter who is credited on Say So. 5) They change the rules to avoid future messiness. I am leaning towards Billboard crediting Nicki just to avoid the drama/extra boost in online traffic, but I anticipate Monday being a very exhausting day for the magazine regardless of the outcome.

Judas is such a good song, but not a single. Lol had only she released on the first day of the tracking week and had chosen a different song.

I don't think Born This Way and Judas were in the top ten at the same time. If I recall correctly, Judas entered the top ten the same week Born This Way fell out of the top ten. She did have both Just Dance and Poker Face in the top ten at the same time. Edit: Just Dance wasn't technically solo because of Colby O'donis.

I feel like a lot of pop radio stations are hesitant to play Nice For What because the radio edit of the song is a little bit awkward. The first time I heard the song on the radio, the editing really took away from the flow of the song. Luckily, the song didn't need excessive radio airplay to be a hit.

Of course the song called God's Plan gets the Easter boost. Why wouldn't it.

I know Break Your Heart number one back in 2010 and I also believe that Baby went number one earlier that year. There is a chance that Dirt Road Anthem may have touched number one in 2011, but I am doubtful on that one.
