  10. I would support it. I think they should shrink the federal district to just the Mall and have DC be a state. I'm obviously a bit biased as a Democrat but I think its ridiculous that one of the biggest cities in the country is essentially disenfranchised. I'm registered to vote in DC and still did because there are some local races going on but my vote for president doesn't count at all. Retrocession to Maryland also wouldn't be so bad, but that probably has less of a chance happening than DC statehood, Maryland politicians would never want it.
