Okay so I've listened through the album a few times (seriously, God bless VPNs) and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I'm really digging Magic. It's so beautiful and heartbreaking cause you can feel how much she loved him. At the Belasco, I thought it was just alright but after listening to the whole album, it's been stuck in my head the most. Tbh I feel like the ones at Belasco that just seemed kinda ehh are hitting me more on the record. Maybe cause I can really hear the lyrics this time idk

That was one of the downsides of Medicine. I don’t think any of the live performances ever really nailed it.

SAME I was getting kinda scared that I romanticized it in my head and that it might not be as good as I remember from Belasco but WHEW this one holds up. Hopefully Skip This Part holds up too 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

WHEW the way that I was absolutely not ready for that album. Immediate favs are Skip This Part (my gawdddddd what an opener), Rock Hudson, Down To You (honestly that one really took me by surprise and might be my #1), and Red Flag Collector. Girlie really showed that pop/rock Kelly is not dead. Least fav was probably Chemistry? But the way that Me ABSOLUTELY SLAPPED live. Like it’s a big vocal already, but MAN she knocked that one out of the park.

This might be a long shot, but did the beginning of the clip of Me remind anyone of the lyrics from Maybe? She said “all you have to do is hold me” and “I just need to be loved” and now she’s sayin she doesn’t need any of that. And then there was that rumor (I think?) where Maybe might’ve been about B*andon when they first met edit: sorry didn’t wanna say his name

I hope that she just does Kellyokes a couple times a week if it’s too much work for her to do everyday, like maybe one on Monday and one on Friday. That way she can still keep the momentum/hype she gets from doing them but then she also gets a break on the other days.
