I understand and respect your opinion, Im not black/from America, but a gay POC in a WHITE dominated country where racism is just as big of a problem for me as for black people in America. POC are killed by the police/white racists just as much as in America. the media just loves to not display it here in my country. Police brutality and racially motivated murder are JUST as present here (albeit not as relevant as social media is heavily US-oriented), so I do have somewhat the right to share my opinion on how a POC/minority should act. Remember the protests are globally and not limited to America. America is NOT the only country where black people/POC are killed by white racists/police. So even if you do not value my opinion Im still gonna put it out there that I as a gay POC minority in a white country, where I am just as endangered as you are, somewhat am allowed to demand other POC who are just as racially oppressed, but are financially blessed, and not as much in danger as we are (financially stable, 24/7 security, celebrity status) to speak up, use their platforms and donate for ALL of us. Racism is GLOBAL. We literally put these celebs where they are today. They can give back to us.

Regardless of what color your fave is, they should always use their platform and open their purses. If they dont, theyre gonna get dragged period. At the end of the day your black billionaire fave isnt the one who‘s living in poverty cause they cant get a job or are killed on the streets, theyre safe and sound 99,9% of the time, its the black fans that put them where they are who suffer from racism. So yes, we should be critiquing black millionaires/billionaires who stay silent and do not use their platform for their own people or donate. We‘re all in this together
