Hot 100: SAD! #1; I Like It #2; APESHIT #13
Because some see streaming as easily manipulated, and ambiguous. They see sales as concrete evidence of song success. Once other genres besides Urban figure out that streaming is where the market is dictating listeners to go, then you will see a more diverse Hot 100. Say if Country music was the genre maximizing streaming at the moment instead of Urban...you'd have multiple Country artists in the top 10 of the Hot 100 right now.

Platinum Hit 12: ST☆RDOM
Damn European and Oceanic charts... I shouldn't say I'm surprised that Europeans wouldn't stan my song cause Europeans generally have questionable taste in music. Some Europeans think David freakin' Hasselhoff (of all people) made good music. And as far as Oceania goes...what is even that? Australia, New Zealand, and a bunch of Podunk islands? Please! Like who was Oceania's main audience? Kangaroos, Koala Bears, and a Sea Turtles!? Whatever! Anyways, thank you @Aurora for being a gracious, accommodating host. Thank you @Hug for being less condescending, and more fair and balanced with your critiques... ...of course...don't let this complement further inflate your already massively inflated ego, Hug.

TIWYCF hits 2 Billion views on Vevo
The 15th #1 that got away. Some live performances and a timely discount would of gotten it for TIWYCF Come to think of it: LOTB would of been Rihanna's 16th #1 with a MV. Wild Thoughts would of been her 17th #1 if it had been the first single rihleased on DJ Khaled's album. Would of been one #1 away from tying Mariah.

Platinum Hit 12: ST☆RDOM
Oh @Aurora has their been a date set on when Round 3 entries are due? And can I just PM it to you on ATRL since the site isn't flopping quite as much as it was? I'll keep Discord, (in case the ATRL server completely craps out again) but me and Discord don't get along. I'm far to busy with work to learn a new site right now, unfortunately.

I just tried imagine either entry being used with music...and would a record label pick up this material and use it for an artist to record a song. I tried and tried, and can't see any label using either entry...perhaps you could strum a guitar to it, but that's about it. Apparently the judges read/hear otherwise...that is y'all's personal taste, not mine. I'm not attacking your entry, it is really nice. I can tell you really worked hard on it. I just ain't feeling either entry as an actual song. I'm just musing this morning, and read both those entries and gave an opinion. Lord knows my entries sail over the judges heads most of the time...this game is maddening at times.

Platinum Hit 12: ST☆RDOM
This is just my observation, please take no offense: These read like beatnik poems, but I can't imagine anyone singing these 2 songs. All y'all need to complete the mood is a room full of people snapping their fingers. If this is the type of material this competition is looking for you need the change the title to Platinum Poem instead of Platinum Hit.

So basically write a campy pop song? If I write something based off this info I'm not changing it, if you add something else to the challenge later on. Ain't nobody got time for no damn redos.

@SaintWest Memories can be traumatic, and people sometimes compartmentalize their memories so they don't have to feel that pain all the time. That is where I was going with the first verse. I did start with the title...white clover flowers grow in fields. They do grow in lawns too, but Lawn of Dreams just wasn't it. @Aurora Of course the subject in the song loved her, and hasn't forgotten her obviously. I think you can still love someone, even if they hurt you really badly. I tried to use the bees as pirates stealing pollen from the white cover flowers to take back to their hive as a metaphor. In that verse the subject is the white clover, and the lover is the bees stealing "pollen" (the subject's love) from the white clover and taking it back to the "hive" (the lover's other lover to make them jealous). The sea foam is a representation of the green meadow. I see what you are saying though, I thought about that second verse for a long time...but I thought the meadow/sea, bee/pirate, White Clover/subject, and pollen/love might work setting up the second chorus change in emotion. Thank y'all both for taking the time to read my entry, and giving constructive feedback. It's greatly appreciated.

Aww...I'm sure people focus on Uranus, too. It would of been funny if Neptune was called Myanus, so when the 7th grade teacher asked which gas planet is farthest from the Sun you could of cracked back: "It's either Uranus or Myanus, cause both are gassy."
