VMA boost, continually increased airplay, stable or increasing streams, and the music video will make it a contender for #1 again the following week—especially as I’m sure the barbz will purchase the song again next week amidst all the hype

Ebro replaced the original with the remix on Apple Music’s biggest playlist because it has the extra rap so that’s not helping. But the #3 Spotify is a good sign

Cardi B lowered the bar and allowed the talent threshold to be immensely lowered. It’s not Nicki Minaj’s fault she was the only female rapper people wanted to listen to, but the fact that the door for Cardi was opened by her, basic logic demonstrates her being the gateway for the rest too. In other words, without Nicki Minaj, there would be no Cardi B to begin with. You could also take it from the girls themselves, as nearly every single one today cites Nicki has a primary influence over the rest.

Chartessentials is predicting a drop from #1 to #6 lol even if it’s a few spots lower she’ll be fine

It’s still #2 on Spotify US and has only gained streams the past 3 days. Apple Music is only dropping a bit because the remix is getting streams too.
