Mavik

Just got my tickets for the September 10 Toronto show 🥳 I had to get the Silver VIP Package but I don't really mind since it will probably be quite some time before we see her touring again.

I made my father listen to the album and he loves it #Boomers4Gaga

It is a bit weird because they haven't announced the tour but talk about these dates in the context of the tour.

Not sure I understand the strategy here - are all these shows part of her upcoming tour and she is announcing country by country?

They gave Born This Way 40?!? Outrageous.

If not this Monday, definitely before the end of the month. Do you think it will be stadiums only?

Mayhem is also my second favourite after BTW. BTW / Mayhem / TFM / ArtPop / Chromatica / The Fame / Joanne

It was a great interview!

Exactly - Most artists would kill to have 14 Grammys. They are not doing her dirty, I think she is quite loved by them.

I think Best Pop Vocal Album is very realistic, but not so sure about AOTY (90% sure it is going to Kendrick).

I mean this could make sense, she might feel encourage given the huge success of DWAS. Didn't we see some rumours about a collab with Chappell? Any other rumours related to potential collabs?

Songs that I liked instantly: Garden of Eden, Perfect Celebrity, Zombieboy, LoveDrug Songs that I like more and more after several listens: Killah, ViY, Shadow of A Man, Blade of Grass Songs that I don't vibe with after several listens: How Bad Do You Want Me, Don't Call Tonight & The Beast. Not horrible, but really not her best... I think I would have cut two of those from the album.

Pretty sure she filmed something recently. Parris also teased more video content. So yes.

Personally, I think it is better than Chromatica because the best songs in Mayhem hit really hard. The first four songs (Disease, Abra, GoE and Perfect Celebrity) are significantly better than the first four songs of Chromatica (Alice, SL, RoM and Free Woman). Chromatica has a bit more going for it in the second half with Babylon, 911, Replay and Enigma, but doesn't have a huge hit like DWAS.

So do you guys think we are getting Telephone part 2? A surprise remix featuring Beyoncé of Garden of Eden would be amazing

I love Killah as well - so fun!

I could see it do well, but to me it not on the level of some of her other ballads/power ballads.

I could be your girlfriend for the weekend, you could be my boyfriend for the night 😏

Garden of Eden for sure.

Garden of Eden, Perfect Celebrity, and Zombieboy are my favourites besides Disease, Abra and DWAS. I could see GoE and Zombieboy as singles. I need to listen more to Vanish into You, but usually if I don't like/love something on first listen it will not change much.

Ratings after my first listen: Disease - 9.5/10 Abracadabra - 10/10 Garden Of Eden - 9.5/10 Perfect Celebrity - 8/10 Vanish into You - 7/10 Killah - 8/10 Zombieboy - 8.5/10 Lovedrug - 8/10 Hbdywm - 7.5/10 Don't call tonight - 7/10 Shadow of a man - 8/10 The beast - 6/10 Blade of Grass - 7.5/10 Die With A Smile - 9/10

Dance in the Dark was the opener for the Monster Ball Tour and I remember my 18 yo self attending the first show of the tour (in Montreal) and how epic it was. So it still has a special place in my heart. https://youtu.be/KZwAMlL9KLk?si=buUJK5nx1aOy8MTp

It is doing very good on pop radio so far, fingers crossed it keeps going! Hopefully the album release will give it a push. Where did Disease stall on radio again? Around 15 million AI?

And around 60-70 million people in Canada, Mexico and the UK. It is going to have an effect, not millions of streams, but 100-200k is very realistic.
