I viewed it as her fighting herself while her inner demon watches (personified as a Rick Owens/Rei Kawakubo/Gareth Pugh-like Plague Doctor) because that's ultimately how she creates her art, no matter how scary or challenging or draining it can be.

Literally. I wanted to check-in for a couple minutes because it's always fun to do at the beginning of a new Gaga era but holy **** y'all. It literally doesn't matter. If you look at sales and ****, 'BRAT' was a flop when it was, actually, a cultural phenomenon and a sold-out arena tour for two artists who couldn't have done that even 6 months ago. Just enjoy the ride and touch grass when possible!
