Bruno is credited as the main songwriter & producer because Gaga's contribution isn't as big as her team and fans try to make it look like. He started writing Die with a smile one year before he decided to contact Gaga. And then the fact that Bruno intended the song to be part of the soundtrack of the Joker film. And this is what everybody was saying when it was first released. It would have fit the theme perfectly. But gaga and her team had a different plan, and decided that the song should be on Mayhem because they wanted the streams to be added to her solo album to make it look more successful (Mayhem's streams, No die with smile: 1,9b). Despite the fact that it didn't fit the vibe that she was going with her album. The scenario that the song was part of Mayhem's writing sessions is so desperate, even for the monsters.

I don't think anyone ever had the delusion that she came up with the song herself

You all just keep discrediting her. Bruno dug it out of a pile of rejects and presented it to her, they worked on it together, it's a hit, it's on her album. It's on no one else's album. Deal with it.
