they are super talented but their own songs just haven't been IT so far..

they consider this new era as the new OGENE, more reflecting of them as people so not just finding eachother in the singing but also in the music. in the same interview on dutch television they also said that it is a fact that they will drop a lot of new music which I guess they can since they are independent now. first single as OGENE 'Phenomenon' was already a big step up in original song quality, this new song 'Alive' also sounds promising too and once again very different to their older original music as OG3NE.

I agree with you though. the vocal talent is so there but quite some of their older English original songs were indeed not IT, the best thing about those songs were always their vocals.

 

but compare 'Phenomenon' to their older singles as OG3NE and the improvement is already very noticable.

oh I agree I just hope they can find a sound that'll make them stand out and get a hit, otherwise they'll be stuck doing mostly covers for the rest of their career (not that there's anything wrong with that)

also I want them to stop ignoring their lisa amy & shelley days just once and perform their cult smashes
