Is there only 2 bonus tracks?

There's four, but I think only two of them (HAH and NMTFNY) have the full track floating out there somewhere on the internet. I haven't personally gone out of my way to search for them, I'll just wait for the deluxe to drop.

well the album is a total fluke but is not that bad, its like an overall katy album. sometimes i feel lame for her, how she would be feeling rn..but she sadly brought it on herself.

peaks: i'm his, he's mine, all the love and wonder was cute tbh. probably my only fave

I'm not a Katy Kat or whatever your called but I really enjoy her discography.

It's very sad the hate she is getting. It's worse then Madonna hate during her times.

Hang in there social media is toxic and its very easy to be on the hate train.

Womans World to Nirvana to Gorgeous sounds better than WW-Gimme Gimme-Gorgeous i feel like Nirvana should've been track #2

All the love is the most emotional song on 143.

I have the same feeling I had when I listened for the first time Only Love on Smile. That song is a hidden masterpiece

Only Love is my favorite along with the title track 🩵🩵 So underrated

And like, here is the thing, it does not sound like a bad album. These critics are crazy. This is at least a 3/5. I would give it a 3.5/5.
These critics are crazy. How is an album with Gorgeous and All The Love AND Lifetimes a freaking 34?

Right? Especially since the biggest complaint is it "sounds dated."

Katy: writes a fun album about her loving her family.

Critics: What an old b*tch

@Element I remember you were very helpful and cleaned up the LIFETIMES release thread when people came flooding in there hating on everything but the song, can you as a Moderator look into this unfortunate new atrl banner? :rip: Or at least comment on it in some capacity?

Hi! This was discussed amongst the mods today. The overall consensus is that the ATRL banner not only reflects recent releases, but also notable pop culture events and items in the news (some recent examples include Trump getting arrested, and Biden dropping out of the race/the coconut tree banner). This has been the banner approach for many years. Unfortunately, a record low Metacritic score is a very remarkable moment in pop music, and is fair game for the banner. While I don't love seeing Katy dragged around every corner, I think the banner is valid given the notoriety of the event. Nobody is immune from being shaded (and sadly, a lot of this has been self-imposed). I'm sure that other artists will get their time to shine in the future.

There will be another artist moving into the banner soon, so it will just be a short time period with 143. In the meantime, there has been a significant effort by the mods over the last few days to warn posts that cross the line and attack the Kats as a fanbase/Katy as a person. We have also tried to close unnecessary threads, as not every single tweet about Katy needs to be a topic... neither do comparisons to other pop girls out there, agitating various fan bases.

Fair enough. Thank you a lot for commenting! It's good to know there was some thought process behind this other than "look guys Katy bad".

I have to post a track by track review in here at some point. The 34 score (and potentially lower this week) is a bit harsh. It's... not THAT bad. My main problem with the album is that it feels lifeless and empty at times. Even her vocals seem bored on some of the tracks, and I noticed this in her Rock In Rio performance too.

All of her albums up until this have a warmth and heart to them, but 143 doesn't feel that same way. It's missing an essential spark of energy and happiness that was promised. When she performed Tucked, Teary Eyes, and CAIL live, there was something much more passionate there! Gimme Gimme and Gorgeous performances, for example, were just very empty.

I would say the album deserves like a 40-50 range score when looking at her other albums. Teenage Dream being so low on MC is criminal btw.

Lifetimes, I'm His, He's Mine, and All The Love are my top three!

After hearing this non stop the entire weekend my final ranking & the amount of plays they have on my iTunes,

Woman's World - 2,084

Crush - 268

Lifetimes - 651

Gimme Gimme - 64

I'm His, He's Mine - 143 (not even joking)

Truth - 43

All The Love - 40

Nirvana -7

Wonder -5

what a phenomenal album full of ear candy. This is my kinda MINDLESS dance-pop club ready album. This has been getting me through one of the hardest times in my life rn. This is going to end up being one of my all time favorite albums. But what an absolute shame the way this all went and is still currently going down. and what a shame on the deliberate & purposeful wrong decisions made this era while knowing damn well they would gave the haters a reason thats plenty valid to non stop bash her & this awesome body of work. I fr think only me & 142 other ppl on earth like this album, that Metacritic score is crazy :rip:

Three month ban and the first thing I spot is that we have a new toxic banner. Cool. It's a pity people are unable to stay away from toxicity. Mental health they claim in these times, hilarious.

Anyways, despite the brutal hate train she's suffering and the troll "professional" reviews, I love this album so much. Bop after bop.

Nirvana and Crush are giving me life.

ATRL it's a toxic forum like many other social media platforms, but yeah I totally agree with you, we should be able to enjoy this album and share out thoughts without reading biased non constructive criticism comments

Then where's the banner when Woman's World was released, or when 143 was released (this "banner" only went up 2 days after the release)? Are those not counted as new releases or part of the music culture considering they are the most discussed topics here.

It just seems to us that ATRL is joining in on the hate train and only wants to portray Katy in a bad light; while this is an open forum and not only should it be respectful as per the ATRL mandate, it should allow opinions from both sides; and the recent antics invalidate the feelings of those who actually love this album

after seeing some critics being ludicrous, slanted and completely indulgent in excessive, unjustified negativity in their reviews towards her and her music, i'm left kind of angry that as a culture this is allowed and people are just letting this hate train move along and get bigger and bigger. and i've never been a huge Katy fan (143 is the first cd I've ever bought by her cause I wanted a signed insert) but it's getting on my last nerve and it also makes me feel really bad for her. is not one critic going to come out and review this album honestly? (maybe there are a couple, but come on, not one positive review?)
