Beyonce, the only the Swifities think about FIRST even after all her "sales"

It's the opposite isn't it

Why will Swifties think about Bey when her sales aren't even comparable

Also random insertion of Bey in discussion as always

That's actually Rod Stewart's concert at Copacabana back in 1994 with over 3.5 million attendees so not even close

Do you know the meaning of standalone?!

Rod's show was part of Rio NYE celebrations, so people weren't there for his show only.

For Madonna's show yesterday, people came for just Madonna alone.

So let me repeat this fact again:  Madonna's Copacabana show set the record for the most attended standalone concert ever in the history of music.

If she is feeling threatened, Taylor should realize that Madonna is and always will be above her.

...Pure? No, because we are in 2024 and not in the 1980s. In actual units? Absolutely, she will end up with more albums moving 10M+ units than any other female artist.

Nope.

The Swifties clinging onto Rod Stewart all of a sudden :ahh: sorry to break it to you guys, but Rod's show was a NYE celebration. Jojo Siwa could have been at that celebration and there would have been at least 1 million people. This record claim is coming from LIVE NATION, a legit source :1stplace: MADONNA is a legend. Best selling female artist of all time. And this is with her being crucified by the media and general public for 30 years! She doesn't have to keep her image superficial or clean like Taylor.

OT: congrats to MADONNA, the QUEEN of POP for her recording break concert!

And that's why you can compare free plays by stans to actual sales. I mean we might as well add mtv video plays to madonna's album sales, that alone would put herp probably at 10b albums sold lol

It's insulting to compare Madonna to Taylor Swift. :biblio: Madonna's legacy stays untouched to this day. You should instead compare Taylor Swift to BTS. Their success is heavily fuelled by an army of rabid fans. They have no impact nor remembered timeless classics. Their output is as mediocre and palatable as it gets.

don't forget me whoooooring out my CDs in the 80s and 90s.

I can confirm to have played / streamed Madonna over 250,000 times. Please add that to her Spotify total.

Fans, even bigger than I am, have even higher CD playcounts.

I would say, we should add at least 42 TRILLION streams to her total.

Well, yes, she probably will cause it's the digital era… regardless, Madonna will always remain superior, her songs will always be legendary and remembered cause she created masterpieces not songs for the charts, unlike Taylor.

After all she's the queen of pop and no artist will have a huge cultural impact like her, she's an icon and revolutionary artist.

Madonna is the only legacy artist who can do it now.

I mean Popular has lowkey outsold Fortnight in Germany :alexz:

IF we assume that Popular was the first step in this direction, then Madonna is already ahead.
