I think she's truly my favorite female pop artist at this point. Rih will always be my all-time #1, but she's basically retired now so there's nothing keeping her at my #1 currently. Ariana was always my #2, and I do love eternal sunshine, but I really haven't been able to follow anything besides this album's run because of how much I'm anticipating it. Houdini and Training Season are on constant repeat for me. I love the cover and the visuals. I love the title and the concept. Her performances this era are beyond stellar and sell IT for me. Future Nostalgia is one of my favorite albums of all time. I love her as a person and the things she stands for. She has it ALL for me and this album is just gonna solidify that :jonnycat:

The way I can 100% relate to all of the things you said here :deadbanana2:

As you said Rih will always be our og fave but she's retired so there's that. Ariana quickly became my #2 and I went hard for her till 2019 but after that idk, something switched, most of her music started to age badly... not to mention her pop music feels more "manufactured" and "american", and I feel this even with ES (which I love). Dua's music, which many would define more "generic and less personal", feels more authentic and part of a clear artistic vision to me, and the timeless feel to it is evident. Other than that she just ticks all the other boxes for me too.

Original Training Season was not shot in Paris and was not scrapped because terrorist attack in France.

It was shot, I don't remember the country exactly, Bulgaria or Croatia and it was scrapped due to Israel/Palestine conficlt

It was shot in Croatia and Slovenia, the directors were Israeli and the concept was kinda war themed

The way every single version of Training Season slaps. :jonnycat: The only miss this era for me was GODini's extended mix. :emofish: Good thing we have the OG, the London Sessions, and the Danny remix.

I put all of them in a playlist and WHEW

I like Training Season but I think she should move on from the song, there's no point of treating it like a single if they weren't going to send it to radio instantly. Houdini despite being pulled out, is better and more stable….

Dukagjin when i catch you!!

Wasn't it sent to radio like a week or two later tho? That shouldn't matter that much, it's just a flop n

Anyway I hope they hold off from releasing the 3rd single until the album release, but I do hope they give us a promo single with lyric video a la FN in April to hold us over

I've lost all my senses, lalala, lalalala

Is this my happy ending?

lalala, lalalala

The sweetest pleasure

I feel like we're gonna be together

This could be the end of an era

Who knows baby, this could be forever

And ever

I just know this is gonna be an amazing Bridge + Buildup + Outro combo.

FN (track) and Genesis found dead in a ditch.

Dua Lipa will headline Glastonbury... and the Brit award-winning popstar will turn her appearance into a blockbuster film with backstage clips

Glastonbury headliner Dua Lipa is planning to turn her appearance at this summer's festival into a dramatic movie using behind-the-scenes footage of the build-up to her main stage appearance.

The Brit Award-winning British singer, 28, will also use the film to accompany a single released after she performs on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Record label bosses confirm that the singer herself suggested the idea of a documentary.

An industry source told The Mail on Sunday: '[Ms Lipa] wants to get the Glastonbury experience across to fans all over the world, as many will never get the chance to attend.

'The plan is to use some of the footage to accompany her new single release. We don't think anyone has actually used footage from Glastonbury with their own single release before. But there will also be loads of extra footage... and scope to release a Dua Lipa Glastonbury movie.'

The only reason Houdini had amazing stability on the Hot 100 is the slow burn/rise on radio. Houdini and Training Season have similar sales and streams the only difference is radio and Training Season is slowly gaining with great updates.

Training Season is holding impressively well on streams. Training Season will surge and gain like Houdini if it continues to gain on radio. Not sure if you fans no that but are used to being quick to call a song a flop but later switches when it starts to gain.

I think it will be something "road to Glastonbury" basically kinda like a behind the scene diary plus performances from Pula,Berlin and Nimnes and Glastonbury as a big final

A documentary would be nice, but we also still didn't got anything for FN Tour despite the tour being recorded, so I am not holding my breath yet

it would be actually cute if they edited the show to be like act 1: berlin, bts segment, act 2: pula, bts segment act 3: nimes, bts segment and then the rest and final segment be glastonbury. glasto is going to be streamed anyway, right? so we'd have that anyway so something cute in the vein of the renaissance tour film would be cute.
