I disagree with the take of people that says she is faceless and need relationship or personality to have a fanbase etc. She has personality and I don't think she needs a relationship to have a career. She should focus on what makes her image strong and what she is good at already - you can see she has good taste and is more classy than trashy while still serving even if it looks a bit awkward sometimes. I think a good, classy album with bops that lean a little bit on indie would attract gays who are like "I like pop but not trashy clown pop" and make her a cute fanbase.

congrats/sorry

Edit: 1:40'd Anything For Love messed up my attention span I'm sorry bestie

Whatcha doin' to me, baby?
I'm scared to death that you might be the one to change me
You're in my head and now you're cloudin' my decisions
Got me headin' for collision
Whatcha doin' to me, baby?
Oh, whatcha doin' to me?

Ooh, na-na-na
Tell me what you're doin' to me

These Walls and Whatcha Doing are so STANWORTHY :jonnycat:

The beat and progression of These Walls remind me of Post Malone's Circles, that's why I don't get the stanning. That song won't save the era with that 2019 sound :suburban:

Training season is over! Dua Lipa is approaching her second UK Number 1 album this week with Radical Optimism. Currently outselling its nearest rival – Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department – 2:1, Dua's third studio album is looking to be her first to debut at the top of the Official Albums Chart.

The morning people in this thread are much more fun than the ones that come on in the evenings :suburban:

We're down to 69, MET Gala look flopped, 21k units sold to date in US, no hit single left on the album (TW ain't happening girls, enjoy HFY), and no more promo currently in sight. At least we have each other and the music girls. :suburban:

EDIT: WAIT! A #1 in the UK, we're turning it around ladies!

This is actually from AOTY which counts more critics than MC: https://www.albumoftheyear.org/album/901411-dua-lipa-radical-optimism.php

It's 70 (+1) there for critics and 68 (-1) for GP now tho.

Oh.. so she's back to being an indie critics darling at least :suburban:
