It's so bland and boring, I can't believe she stans that song 😭

Idk I disagree. The first few listens of the album for me were underwhelming except for that song. I think it's a career highlight

it's actually sounding better on third listen… with some veggies and water… oh mineralipa…

she needs to shake it up when it comes to her performances.. it's always the same 3 moves and mannerisms when she's on the mic stand & very similar choreo to what we already saw last era. She's doing fine but it gets a lil too predictable and simple at this point

having a galaxy brain moment (none of this makes any sense)

- cut end of an era, anything for love, falling forever

- make maria a bonus track

- replace with 3 TI rejects with either standout instrumentation or more invocative songwriting

- also maybe an interlude or two would've been interesting to see her try, to tell the story of the album (there wasn't one but she needed to pretend for marketing)

magnum opus she does it again critical darling zane lowe dua lipa is absolutely killing it rn brava brava vacation for 2-3 more years after grammy campaign

That look… she really things this is her pedestrian era

She changed stylists right?

Lorenzo is now with Rosalia, and Dua has Riri's stylist.

But yeah Im not feeling her looks this era.

Her shirt from the BBC thing looks like something a latina grandma would put on their grandchildren for they to eat and play without making the "good" clothes dirty :deadvision:

After a whole weekend this is my Radical Optimism ranking:

1. End Of An Era
2. Whatcha Doing
3. Houdini
4. Illusion
5. Maria
6. Falling Forever
7. Training Season
8. Happy For You
9. These Walls
10. French Exit
11. Anything For Love

*I've listened to the singles so many times that they got me a bit tired but in the long run they'll probably end up higher
*AFL was kinda disappointing to me after that gay in the interview said it was THEE anthem of the album
*can't find the hook in TW, FE or HFY

Going from being THEE Versace girl to these looks when the album is giving SUMMER.

Omg, she and her entire team are absolute dummies

This is a solid album, but after the epic highs of Future Nostalgia, it feels very underwhelming.

I love the three singles + Whatcha Doing, Falling Forever, and Maria, but the rest are giving Good In Bed / Boys Will Be Boys - good tracks, but not ones I'd add to any playlist or ever put on repeat.

And there's nothing that hits as hard as Levitating, Hallucinate, Physical, Cool, or Love Again.  Illusion is the only one that comes close.

Oh and it's downright offensive that she put an interlude on an 11 track album.  AFL belongs in the dumpster :pukey:

Screaming Forever #4? Couldn't be me

Spoiler

But if you insert Million Dollar Baby somewhere between the album tracks you would get something very similar to my weekly chart

I'm shocked that Weezer isn't suing for a writing credit on Maria. Island In the Sun sounds verrrry similar.

If they didn't sue for Bey's Bodyguard, I'm sure Maria is safe lol

she's dropping even on last.fm charts
