AcidPrince Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Watcha Doing next single pleaseeeeee, the instrumental is soo good 1

TryMe Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I have listened to a lot of FN outtakes and a large portion sounds like this but less summery. Ball and Chain, Crocodile Tears, Berlin Summer. I loved these songs, however these songs don't hit the right spot for me. I loved the singles, but these songs seem very plain like potato, meat and vegatables. There are no real dishes to me.... I think the problem lies in the production, it's really stripped back, some of the instruments sounds straights out of GarageBand. But I will give it another try.
_Fey Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Finally listening to this in my country. Omg it sounds so good. The 6.6 from * is also so surprising to me. Considering it's been getting 3s and 4s, I assumed they would go in. Dua must be in their "we don't mind her" list.

The Man Who Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I must've loved you more than I ever knew (Didn't know I could ever feel) 'Cause I'm happy for you (Now I know everything was real) I'm not mad, I'm not hurt You got everything you deserve Oh, I must've loved you more than I ever knew I'm happy for you

Sergiov Posted May 3 Posted May 3 After 24 hours, I still think Falling Forever and These Walls are career hightlights.
Nico Robin Posted May 3 Posted May 3 What if these waalls could TALK They say enough They say give up If these waaalls could TAALK
Cloudy Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I think Whatcha Doing could do something with a remix and some extra vocals kn the choruses
halcyonday Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Happy For You is one of the highlights. Maybe if the entire album fit its vibe of summery, breezy escape instead of trying to pretend to be psychedelic pop... it would've been a much better album.
scottstreet Posted May 3 Posted May 3 There's a few new important reviews out but they're not rated, we'll have to wait for Metacritic to update. But one of them looks panned and the other two seemed to like the album. https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/music/story/2024-05-02/dua-lipa-radical-optimism-album-review https://consequence.net/2024/05/dua-lipa-radical-optimism-review/amp/ https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/03/arts/music/dua-lipa-radical-optimism-review.html

sunbathinganimal Posted May 3 Posted May 3 there's hints of an interesting pop album buried in here but overall it's just very bland and flat
The Man Who Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I want to give the entire album another replay but Grammy's For You has me in a chokehold. Who knew Dua would release the SOTY?
