What was the exact moment Lady Gaga lost her edge?

It might have been when she scrapped the 8 redone songs inspired by the art of darkness to release Joanne instead but I am not sure. What do you think. Long live lady LinkedIn.

When Artpop "flopped". That was obviously the point she and her label might have felt the public was tired of her schtick and she needed to tone it down.

I still think she has moments of greatness. ‘Shallow’ was a genuinely amazing song, she’s just far more inconsistent nowadays vs the beginning of her career but that kind of fame and the backlash at any falter has irreparable damage on the psyche that’s hard for us commoners to comprehend

When she saw that even her monsters won't support her vision. This scene in the short film always felt sad.

This was the last great thing she did and the kiss of death for the artist she used to be. It's ironic too cause the acclaim from this was probably one of the major reasons she pivoted towards this clean vintage Hollywood image immediately afterwards.

I came here to post this. Every "gaga" thing she did after was just a rehash and felt ingenuine.
