Didn't Caution do 3 weeks?

 

1 week in 2024 is not that much worse if we're being honest especially when it went top 10 globally, congrats to Mariah on the extra 2 weeks and extra 30k sales

It always fascinated me that Caution continued to sell in the background like that - undetected from our GPs eyes. 

 

What genre is Jennifer Lopez' album assigned to? I assume that it is still charting on some BB sub-categories. <3

 

However, how big the mighty have fallen... so we have to resort to tracking these sub-charts bc our legends are not powerful enough anymore to be listed on any of those main charts. The GP did J.Lo dirty. I love her album. It currently ranks as my 6th most streamed album of 2024.

Caution sold 120,000 copies in total in the US. It 12 weeks on the BB Top Albums Sales Chart. MIAM only did 8 weeks.

But it probably takes a few hundred copies to stay on that R&B chart. 

 

I don't think JLO was "done dirty". Unless you have streaming week on week you are not going to spend much time on the main charts these days. It is what it is.

We have to remember those sales were heavily comprised of tour bundles and merchandise bundles so you are not comparing like with like at all. 

I mean if JLO had tour bundles counting her initial week sales would be much higher.
