I have a crazy busy weekend and don't know if I'll have time to sit down and enjoy a full listen all the way through. Given how long the album is, it might be easier to digest in chunks anyway. it's basically a mix of everything she's done with a country twist (r&b/rap/ballad/rock)
Kristie Kuwa Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Gosh both collabs with Miley and Post are easily among the best collabs of her career 4
Rocket Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Tyrant every time I ride it, every time I ride it Make it look so good, try to justify it Boy, I know they're lookin' for me, how we're gonna hide it? Ride it like hydraulics, I am such a tyrant The first half of the album is cute, but damn, the second half devours.
Chromatica Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Copies are available for pre-order at European retailers now (release date: April 12) They all have the alt cover without the horse, even the CDs.

PurpleAfrodyte Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Protector is my favorite song on CC. I love her vocals/harmonies and the simplicity of it. That, bodyguard, and Riiverdance are my top 3 on the album. However I don't think CC is seeing Renaissance. Maybe my opinion will change but I wasn't blown away by this album as I was with Act I, Lemonade, and self titled. 1
Lovett Posted March 28 Posted March 28 What the F*CK is "Ya Ya"?! She's ripped every last follicle out of my head. This is INCREDIBLE! 1

Zerby Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Rennaisance was/is probably my absolute fave of hers. It's liberating and carefree. Cowboy Carter is a different kind of experience. It can make you cry and make you boogie. Also feels like a cunty Western themed movie. Ren was an album i shared with my mom, wish my dad were alive to share this with him. He loved folk americana and western films. 6
