I mean, the album is good, very good, but she could have saved those useless interludes and spoken stuff for herself. Plus, the last part of the album is by far the weakest one and it makes it hard to finish it. It could have been an AMAZING 15-16 track project but she decided to pour some fillers on it and creating that pretentious aura with the interludes. kharijthedog Posted March 28 Share Posted March 28 To be fair I never had any expectations going into this album—I was so so excited and ready to accept what I was gonna be fed with COWBOY CARTER especially after the phenomenal RENAISSANCE album. After digesting the whole project after god-knows-how-many re-listening sessions, to say I am blown away over and over is an understatement. I love the pattern that Pure/Honey is the second last song on the album which is a mash of two different songs, and it's the exact same on CC - Sweet Honey Buckiin being three songs in one.
