I’m sending you my new single «Carte Blanche» today. It’s the first song from my upcoming album «Blue Angeles» that will be released in March 2024.

Until then, I’ll be sharing one song with you every month. In the process I hope that you’ll learn a little more about me, my songs and my story than you knew before.

This song, Carte Blanche, was written in Los Angeles. At that time I was having a lot of trouble putting my phone down and struggling to sleep because of the freeway noise. I hated the screen-time, the endless concrete, and the pale blue LA sky.

I wrote Carte Blanche as a rebellion against the denial that I was living in. It became my anthem to get the **** out of Los Angeles and pursue the life I had always dreamed about living which is exactly what I ended up doing later that year.

It’s my favorite song I’ve ever written.

I loved all the pre-release singles, never really listened to him before, but I pre-saved this one!

I personally hate this album. his prev work was much more.. inspired. deleted this one from my library!
