And realistically all she needs is one good hit for the era to be a success. Her Paint the Town Red/Rude Boy is coming  If I can stand by Rih during the pre-ANTI era after how horrible the rollout was, DL3 is a walk in the park.

Not true. The song just completely went stale for me. Got old really fast, absolutely no replay value and we are seeing this is the case with the streaming numbers. It’s not just me.

 

and I loved the video at first, maybe cuz it was new. But the more I watched, the more I realized how cringe the choreo is.

 

def not a success stan. I just think it’s clear this is flopping because the quality is just not there.

Okay so they had everything planned for the TS rollout, including EMA performance, but then some last minute chances made for the cancellation of it as the lead single. They then had to come up with something QUICK since they had already started teasing the era and threw out Houdini without any time to rehearse for performances of shoot a decent music video, so they hired a studio and some dancers to get it out there

 

They knew the song wasn’t gonna do much and that Christmas time would swallow it up, but it’s a sacrifice they were willing to make since they’re gearing up for the TS release next year with major promo everywhere

 

This was meant to flop all along and we are just experiencing the first step in their 5D chess game

The extended snippet is a slay. It is what I feel the song is missing…a little bit of soul. I wish it would be spread through out the song instead of just the third chorus/bridge.

I actually think she'll milk the album for a bit before even thinking of going on tour since eras usually die right after tour, and the team wants a long era. I still wonder whether or not a FN era is replicable since its circumstances were so unique (covid...) Makes me wonder if the era would have been this long had covid not existed...?

Yeah except for the mixing being a mess, I loved that extended edit! The stuttered intro, the extra verse which sort of acts as a pre-chorus in a way (love the lyrics of that part as well), the extended bridge phasing the ‘stay’ vocals in and out.

Don’t know if we were even expecting it or not but no add to New Music Daily on Apple Music in the UK at least.

I like the extended! It feels unfocused and like they chucked a bunch of things together but that makes it cooler. But she needs to ditch these producers. They’ve let her down.
