Second solo album from the voice of Steps! Seems like it's going to be a covers album, and it's out August 25th!

Official announcement seems to be coming at 11am on Wednesday, presumably with the first single? Claire's been performing Loreen's Euphoria in her live sets this year.

I honestly wouldn't mind her doing a covers album of Eurovision / Melodifestivalen songs. Steps have done a good job with their Melfest covers lately.

I'm excited for this! My Wildest Dreams was a solid debut record. Hopefully this means new Steps in 2024!

    + she's in a band constantly recording handed down Eurovision reject tracks.

    Doing Eurovision songs as cover pleases fans, doing Eurovision itself is career suicide to the GP's eyes (who they need to tour arenas) so...

    The same GP that sent the last 2 Euro songs top 10 (not to mention Sam Ryder’s success, chart wise and touring).

    Wait, what? :noparty: I thought Steps was down to do Eurovision. I’m disappointed in Claire if this is true.

    It’s true and they slate it every year. Despite Steps recording hand me down Eurovision songs that didn’t make the Euro cut!
