There’s not a tremendous amount of reinvention to this Motomami + remix of “Candy.” Puerto Rican reggaetonero Chencho Coreleone offers a counterpoint to Rosalía, insisting that she still remembers their relationship and regards it far more fondly than she’s letting on.

 

Best bit: “Como ajedrez te puse en jaque y te maté con beso’”

I am indeed a Harry hater but I do admit that Fine Line had some excellent songs unlike this collection of background music

This ethereal midtempo ballad from Midnights – about quickly and unexpectedly falling in love again after a breakup that you thought you’d be getting over your whole life – is suddenly freighted with new meaning following the events of the past few days. “Never trust it if it rises fast/It can't last,” Taylor sings, making “Labyrinth” an unexpected prophecy of the whole Matty Healy affair.

 

Best bit: Taylor is scared of elevators?!

As summer – and Un Verano Sin Ti – draws to a close, Bad Bunny attempts to pick up one last woman, propositioning that they do it on the beach, under the stars, because they can’t be certain what tomorrow brings. Though existing single “Callaíta” is tacked on at the end of the album, “Agosto” feels like its true finale, fading out on the sounds of seagulls and lapping waves.

 

Best bit: the switch-up of Bad Bunny’s flow at “Dime ya, tú ere' una player, ¿te gusta jugar?”
