SOS is a huge album and it still has to reach Midnights' first week sales. That tells you everything you need to know.

SOS actually has a hit (with possible more to come) so will be much bigger in the eyes of the GP

As of now Folklore, but SOS is really doing some damage despite how new it is.

 

We’ll see its longevity though. We’ve seen albums do great out of the gate for the first few months of release but faded really quickly after (30, the two latest Drake albums).

Noone cares about Future Nostalgia as an album. It only had high "sales" because of the multiple rereleases and the 10 singles that got massive promo. Nobody is listening to that album as a full body of work

Numbers are numbers no matter how you reach them. If your album reaches 13M global sales because of a huge single, the sales of the album are 13M and that's bigger than another album selling 11M.

It is easy to distinguish between interest for the album and interest for the singles by looking at the album tracks streams. Dua album tracks streams being so low just proves that noone cares about Dua's music if it's not at the top of TTH.

Damm sure she wouldn't be selling stadiums and arena if that was true plus 100M-200M Streams for Album tracks isn't bad at all...
