What significant group has released this year that's not above skz (&their 10 track album vs the others with 5 or fewer btw)?

NCT 127, GOT the Beat, STAYC, THE BOYZ, Monsta X have all released Korean comebacks.

Btw, there was only 6 new songs on the SKZ album with 2 of them being pre-released including the title track, which means that there was only 4 new songs when the album was released.  The 1st week streams of those old and pre-released songs were only included from when the album was released and not when they were stand alone singles (which was the time where the those songs were in their peaks in terms of streams). Btw those numbers listed are only 1st week cause the album as a whole has now almost 50M streams, not bad for a Japanese album I fear :michael:

It's always the BOTS stans discrediting SKZ I swear, like we get it, BTS are bigger than SKZ, like give it up Deelishis :toofunny2:

SKZ being #4 and almost outdoing every release so far this year with with a Japanese album :clap3: Btw, they would've debuted way higher if they didn't release the title track a whole month earlier :rip:

FqYcIP1X0AALHbQ?format=jpg&name=large

TXT - 5 songs (avg. 8.2m per song)

NewJeans - 2 songs (avg 20.3m per song)

BSS - 3 songs (avg 3m per song)

Stray Kids - 10 songs (avg 870k per song)

:deadbanana:

They way you spin things is so funny. You should become a politician or something. :rip:

Sweetie, that's not how it works since it's literally a Japanese album, like let's be real a lot of Kpop stans don't care about Japanese releases:rip: Take a look at TXT's Japanese numbers before talking :gaycat7:SKZ's Japanese album right now has almost 50M streams already btw, which is something TXT will never reach with a Japanese album.

Btw, it's mostly 2-3 songs carrying this SKZ album, since most songs are just Japanese versions of their older songs, so a lot of people usually skip those :cm:

As I mentioned earlier the title track was released way before the album, which means that the actual 1st week streams of that song weren't counted, and the tracking of the title track was only counted from when the album was released, which was a whole month later where the hype had already died down a little, just like how TXT went from having 1M daily streams for "Sugar Rush Ride" during the 1st week to now having 600K daily streams. If TXT decided to release the album a month after releasing "Sugar Rush Ride" then they would've also debuted with way less 1st week album streams.

Btw, I never indicated that SKZ with a Japanese album would get more 1st week streams than TXT and NewJeans, so I don't understand your motive

That user should instead worry about Circus (a Japanese song) soon surpassing TXT's only Korean comeback last year in views  Both songs were only released a month apart from each other btw.

(Japanese songs does not use ads btw)

Not you having to go back 9 months to drag TXT. Let's stay in the PRESENT... where Sugar Rush Ride has already surpassed Case 143 in YouTube views. :coffee:

That's because of ads :ahh:The set up:ahh: Over 50 million views from Sugar Rush Ride are from ads alone which is over half of the views  While CASE 143 has only 9M ad views which is only 9,6 % :gaycat7:(There's all these different sites where you can see organic and non-organic views of a video)

------

Good Boy Gone Bad - 67M views in 9 months

Sugar Rush Ride 100M views in 1 month :rip:

Somehow TXT went from struggling to reach 70M views with their songs to now reaching in 100M views in just 1 month :coffee:

April is way too soon. I think they will start teasing their comeback once the tour ends which ends on April 2nd. So I guess the comeback will be in early May, since JYP love to to tease their comebacks 1 month prior

WINTER giving K-rock queen

They really should have given her a rock song for her solo performance instead of that ballad

Not yg kicking out baemon members already :rip: literally what was the point in revealing them then...

but if he kicks out the literal children and has them debut in 3 more years tho that wouldn't be a bad idea tho...

A Somi/Chaeryeong tea :rip:

Why didn't they make a whole survival show about it then? I mean WINNER was a huge success (with their debut)

Random thought: Successful kpop idols in mid-tier/high tier groups are probably much richer than in previous generations. With all the fashion deals, more idols bring apart of the writing/producing process and international touring (which is where the money for a musician truly is) they're probably raking in the dough if apart of a successful group. I can't imagine how much money bts/bp/twice etc. must have.

i would've loved a winner/ikon situation where yg debuts 2 girl groups through survival shows, but that company is too sexist to do that.

Oh wow oh wow Jisoo coming so soon

I feel like she’ll easily have the best solo because of how low the expectations are compared to the other members and also the music might be more digestible judging by the teaser image

This is cruel. :deadbanana:

Should have known this would go bad, for the girls, when that evil man appeared to be heavily involved.

Recent YG related audition group forming shows have struggled for viewers despite the groups doing fine.  So might as well cut out the middleman and pocket the profits.
