this reply is kinda funny to me because if hybe's takeover on SM goes through, artists like onew won't even have an album to release

 

as of now sm gives releases to nearly all of their acts every year but like stated in the new video, there's a limit to how much albums one company can release yearly, and if sm merges with hybe, this limit will be exceeded and older sm acts and solo will literally be shelved with no hope for a comeback

 

on top of that, idols like key will lose their main gigs since hybe has a beef with mbc and key's biggest gigs are on the channel

 

you can say what you want about sm but they give work to most of their idols yearly, even the older and less relevant

 

all of this won't be possible under hybe, i fear

i can't believe people are actually chosing to defend a side in this sm/chris lee vs hybe/lsm bull**** when both sides are idiotic.

i understand being a "company stan" in the sense of liking/supporting many artists under one label but actually DEFENDING these corrupt companies (the entire entertainment industry in every country is corrupt so dont even start) is genuinely on the next level.mp3 of insanity and delusion.

sm had 31 physical releases last year and is aiming for 41 this year. i highly doubt that the other artists/groups under hybe are gonna release 60+ albums ffs  plus hybe and sm have their albums printed by different manufacturers.

the whole gfriend disbandment is a massive complicated mess (that we'll never know the full details of) and can't all be blamed on hybe ffs
