Clearly, it was photoshopped...not in a good way but it wasn't ugly

she's debuted under one of the biggest k-pop companies without having to spend years of her life as a trainee, keeps getting the natural k-pop "glow up" , the group is successful so even if she's a foreigner is probably getting money, like... that seems like a winner to me!

I never said she's ugly, I said the picture is uglier than she is. Saying something is worse isn't the same as calling it the worst. You're putting words in my mouth.

 

 

The fact this isn't the first time you're trying it with me about not being enough of an aespa fan when I'm easily their loudest stan on this website. Like it or not she's always been gorgeous and has main vocal potential.

let's be real, the only aespa girl who's looked fantastic since debut is Karina... the other 3 got prettier with time and that's fine, they are all visuels

@Ryan can we do something about me getting called ancient or a grandpa everytime somebody disagrees with me? I've denied these accusations several times but even if I was old it would be ageism. I try not to send reports in this thread unless somebody is straight up racist or homophobic but I've genuinely had enough.

They've been calling her that since the ugly gen 3 fans first came on the scene and now their favs are much older than Taeyeon was when names like hag and ahjumma generation started getting thrown around. I'm gen z but I find the whole thing strange.

Speaking of paving the way can we talk about how a certain fandom held funerals for SNSD in 2017 when Fany, SY, and Seo left but they actually ended up blazing a trail for that exact group to negotiate a similar deal for 3 of its members. The girls themselves forget which of them are under SM or not these days because they're treated like equals. It was unthinkable at the time just like a million other SNSD groundbreaking moments.
